Zombie Short Film “Spoiler”: You’ve seen Daniel Thron’s visual effects work on Zodiac, Tron: Legacy, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and many other films. He has also written and directed a short film which we have for you to watch:
“Ten years ago, a zombie-like infection almost tore our society apart — but the Cdc managed to bring it under control and in the process created a massive national infrastructure to prevent future outbreaks. Over time, the world has returned to near-normal — but people still live in fear; and many pay to live in ‘protected’ complexes, designed to quarantine and resolve any outbreak.

As The Advocate turns 45 years old, they've put up a hall of fame, from Pat Rocco to Dustin Lance Black and everyone in between. It's a great, brief gay history lesson.
A new way to maim myself – a self balancing unicycle. But it would be great to pick up boys. I know I hit on the cute guy at Bridge Day two years ago on the unicycle with the puppy.
Speaker Boehner has appointed National Organization for Marriage founder and author of the anti-gay Manhattan Declaration Robert George to the Religious Freedom Commission, making him a government employee for the next two years.
Cutie (and equality advocate) Josh Hutcherson has been named Breakthrough Performer of the Year by CinemaCon. That's a bit of an understatement after The Hunger Games.
As disgusted as I am by the unsealed Nom memos that showed how they cynically manipulated entire populations of minorities as they opposed equality,...

Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain) was absolutely captivating as Marilyn Monroe. She did not act the role as the stereotypical blonde bombshell as she was perceived to be. She made the role come to life, and really captured a real side of the superstar. Giving such a skilled performance makes this a truly enjoyable film to watch. Based on two books by Colin Clarke in which he recalled making The Prince and the Show Girl and allegedly he had a fling with Marilyn Monroe during this time. Whether this happened or not is not really a central issue. Even if the story line is based on an idea or fantasy, it feels right, it feels like it happened. Eddie Redmayne (The Other Boleyn Girl) portrays Colin as an ambitious young man eager to get into the movie business. He becomes close to Marilyn and takes her side when others get annoyed...

Emma Watson Talks Her Week with Marilyn
It takes a brave woman to compete with Marilyn Monroe but that’s basically what Emma Watson does in My Week with Marilyn, and she has nothing but praise for the film that depicts a little-known aspect of the screen goddess’ life.
In My Week with Marilyn, based on the novel of the same name, Watson plays Lucy, a wardrobe assistant that becomes the love interest of Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), at least until Colin focuses his attention on Marilyn Monroe.
In the clip below, Watson talks about how she became hooked on the story when she read the book and expresses disbelief that nobody had ever brought this part of Monroe’s life to the big screen, saying “Colin Clarke’s take on it is genius.”
Watson also talks a little bit about the character of Lucy, saying the role is a great part.

Though we’ve gotten looks at both Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe and Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier, now comes the first proper footage of both stars and the rest of the cast in action, as the trailer for My Week with Marilyn has arrived online. Check it out below. My Week with Marilyn is based on the events that occurred when the famous – in some circles, infamous – blonde arrived in the UK to shoot Olivier’s The Prince and the Showgirl. As seen through the eyes of Olivier's assistant Colin Clarke (Eddie Redmayne) it was yet another dramatic time in Monroe’s life. The production was famously stormy: the actress was then married to playwright Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott) and suffered a miscarriage during shooting; her weight fluctuated and her punctuality problems were even worse than normal. The trailer also details Marilyn’s growing romance with Clarke, who...

There's already been a lot of internet attention paid to Michelle Williams' take on Marilyn Monroe in upcoming drama My Week With Marilyn, but what about the rest of the cast? Well, here's a little taste of Kenneth Branagh's take on Sir Laurence Olivier, at least - and for our money he's looking good.
Both Shakespearean wunderkinder, (Hamlet, Henry V), both writer/directors who worked on populist entertainment (The Prince And The Showgirl, Thor) as well as the heavy stuff, Olivier and Branagh would appear to be an obvious pairing. And judging by this picture, Branagh's paid his predecessor sufficient attention to nail his facial expression and completely get past the fact that they don't look that much alike (although there's something there around the chin - and the hair's spot-on, of course).

Go figure, I asked the Weinstein Co. only one day ago if they had an image of Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier in Simon Curtis' My Week with Marilyn to accompany my Oscar predictions and the response was they didn't have one yet, but there should be one on their publicity site shortly. I wish they had told me to keep an eye on Empire where the first look at Branagh in a role that is already garnering some Oscar buzz has debuted.
The film features Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, and depicts one week in the actress' life which she spends with 23 year-old Colin Clarke (Eddie Redmayne), an assistant to Olivier who is directing Monroe's latest film, The Prince and the Showgirl. Actress Michelle Williams has been tipped to take on the role of Marilyn Monroe in a new movie about the screen icon.
The Brokeback Mountain star has reportedly been offered the lead in upcoming film My Week With Marilyn, winning the title role ahead of other actresses including Scarlett Johansson and Amy Adams who are both said to have been considered for the part.
British newspaper the Daily Mail reports director Simon Curtis and producer David Parfitt picked Williams to play Monroe, but are still waiting for the Oscar-nominated star to agree.
The picture will document Monroe's time filming 1957 movie The Prince and The Showgirl with Laurence Olivier and is based on a diary kept by the film's assistant director Colin Clarke.
My Week With Marilyn is due to begin shooting in London in June.
