Romain Grosjean’s crash during the Bahrain 2024 Grand Prix was nothing short of dramatic. His Haas split in two upon colliding with Daniil Kyvat’s Alpha Tauri, leading to a fiery scene as Grosjean escaped from the wreckage. The French driver’s Haas collided with Daniil Kyvat’s Alpha Tauri on turn three, skewing into a barrier. Grosjean, 34, was lodged in the front half of his monocoque as it appeared to fly under the barrier, outlining just how intense the incident was. Amid this chaos, other drivers had their moments on different tracks. Charles Leclerc made headlines in Saudi Arabia by taking...

The Wimbledon Invitational event is currently taking place as some legends of the game are battling it out on the court, and in one match fans could see ball boys take part as well.
The Wimbledon Legends event is a very chill and laid-back tennis event for former players to remind themselves of their glory days. It happens every year, and some of those matches are good watches due to players opting to entertain the crowd more as part of the competition.
Some of the ways they do that is by giving the ball boys a chance to play some tennis and that's what happened in the match between Tommy Haas and Mark Philippoussis, and Romain Grosjean and Radek Stepanek. It was early in the second set when the Australian and German opted to give their racquet to two ball boys hoping to rest up a bit after playing great tennis in the first set.

No one disputes the direct line between the exploding popularity of Formula 1 in the United States and the hit series “Drive to Survive,” soon to launch its fifth season on Netflix. So it was only a matter of time before IndyCar, America’s premier open-wheel racing series, would try something similar.
But getting F1’s American counterparts to open the throttle could be tricky – at least at first.
A production crew from Vice Media this week began crawling all over Thermal, California, where the Ntt IndyCar Series’ nearly 30 regular drivers started testing their machines ahead of next month’s 2023 season debut. The TV series, “100 Days to Indy,” is expected to air this year on the CW.
IndyCar brass has instructed teams to allow the Vice crews unfettered access, forbidding them from dismissing cameras for any reason. But it sounds like some IndyCar teams – with widely varying degrees of media...

Abu Dhabi, Dec 12 (Ians) Just two weeks after Haas's Romain Grosjean's horrific accident which saw the driver miraculously escaping after his car burst into flames, veteran driver Kimi Raikkonen had to escape his Formula 1 car during the second free practice ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after it got engulfed in flames.
Raikkonen, 41, had to pull over his Alfa Romeo after its rear got engulfed in flames. The situation only became worse after he stopped the car. Raikkonen was his typical calm self as he got out of the car and then went on to direct the marshals where to spray the fire extinguisher before taking control of an extinguisher himself.
"You have a big fire -- get the hell out of there quick," was the call from Raikkonen's engineer as the Finn parked up.
Raikkonen seemed to have been encumbered climbing out of the car by his radio wire.

Red Bull score 1-2 in desert snooze-fest
Sebastian Vettel dominated a predictable, uninspiring race in Abu Dhabi to take his seventh win in a row for Red Bull. With a good start he took the lead at turn one and then drove off into the sunset, quite literally as darkness fell over the circuit for the race to culminate in the night. Webber backed it up with a distant second place ahead of Nico Rosberg and another strong drive by Romain Grosjean as he just missed out on the podium.
Into the Weekend
Abu Dhabi, a track only notable for the time the race is held as it starts in daylight and then finishes at night as the sun slips below the sandy horizon. In its fifth year on the calendar, it still has something to prove as it failed to deliver anything exciting in its first four outings in...

Vettel Unchallenged on way to Fourth Title
Vettel claimed his tenth win of the season to seal his fourth consecutive world drivers title at the Buddh International Circuit, quickly despatching the soft tyres to cruise through the pack and take the win ahead of Nico Rosberg after Mark Webber again suffered mechanical failure in the sister car.
Romain Grosjean again showed race day class to drive through from 17th on the grid with a single-stop race to the podium after his appalling qualifying to once more underline his quality for a 2014 race seat. Despite Webber’s retirement Red Bull also wrapped up the constructors championship with three races still to go.

India, one of the newest tracks on the calendar, returned for its third and potentially final instalment with the drivers’ championship all but sewn up. As another modern Tilke-designed circuit it has offered little excitement in...

The Spa Grand Prix is the longest track in the F1 calendar with a total length of 7km per lap. Spa is famous for it’s multiple overtaking spots and famous corners such as Eau Rouge and Blanchimot. I personally love the Spa circuit as it always provides an exciting race.
Qualifying
The qualifying this year was a wet affair with some discrepancies in the usual starting order. Both Marussias and Giedo van der Garde managed to get into Q2 because of excellent tyre choices in the wet weather. This meant that both Williams and Toro Roso drivers were out along with Caterham’s Charles Pic and Sauber’s Esteban Gutierrez.
Q2 saw the exclusion of the other Caterham driver Giedo van der Garde in 14th, a career best for him, along with the two Marussias of Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton in 15th and 16th place respectively. Sergio Perez...
