Stephen Gibson is a screen writer and a producer. He written and produced a number of feature films including producing 'The Callback Queen'. It was nominated for two Irish Academy Awards.
Stephen wrote, produced and directed the TV Pilot 'On Witches Hill'. He produced the award winning LGBTQ 'LILY' which won the Galway Film Festival, the Tiernan McBride Award, the Audi Dublin International Film Festival, the film was IFTA nominated and Academy Award long-listed.
He was the Irish co-producer on the US / Irish co-production 'Maidens of the Sea' in 2014, distributed by California Pictures, and he produced the Paco Torres' feature film 'Saol' in 2014.
He wrote and directed the multi-award winning short 'Bridge to Kindness' and he produced and exec produced many shorts including BIFF Winner / Van d'Or / BAFTA long-listed 'Driftwood'.
Stephen was Production Manager on a number of Irish feature films including on 'The Gaelic Curse' directed by Jack Conroy (My Left Foot / The Field). He was the Production Supervisor on the Zanzibar / RTE / Screen Ireland feature 'Sanctuary' in 2016, directed by Len Collin. It won Best Feature Film at the Galway Film Fleadh (2017) and won the JDIFF Discovery Award for the ensemble cast.
Stephen has written numerous projects including the Celtic Narnian fantasy feature trilogy 'Finn McCool'© with Mark Huffam executive producing, the Kindertransport film 'Faraway Home' being produced by Chloe Gibson, with David Barron (producer of Harry Potter and Cinderella), and he has co-written the Banshee origin story, 'Ancestral' with Clare Sera (Blended / Smallfoot).
