Simon Acok loved acting at an early age and has starred in several
Film and TV roles in Australia/USA and the UK. His background is quite diverse
he is the son of a African/Ugandan father and Australian/English
mother.
Some of his achievements in acting include being in the well known American produced Film/TV series,
"Salem's Lot" and appearances on Logie award winning Australian Television productions like
"Satisfaction" and "Stingers".
Further success came in London, UK. He achieved high accolades, one of his films "Uzair" was a very
powerful drama involving him playing an east London street dealer was
played with great pride and conviction and gained some media attention
as it circulated several East London film festivals. This led to many
more lead roles within the British film industry such as independent
lead roles in "A Night Never Forgotten" which was an intense
psychological thriller and the Woody Allen inspired comedy "Lost to be
found". Also a string of career defining theater roles back in Melbourne.
