Raised in South Carolina, where she danced and was involved with community and regional theatre as a child.
First professional acting role was as Rabbit Lucy in a touring production of The Wind in the Willows at age 13.
Was the recipient of the Rising Star Award at the 2010 Script-to-Screen Film Festival and has received two Best Actress in a Feature nominations for her work in The Death of Kevin Frye and Pawn's Move.
Has a 6 pound Papillon named "Pippin" who has appeared with her in two short films and one stage production.
