Deadpool & Wolverine, the official title of Deadpool 3, very nearly featured one of the X-Men’s most iconic villains: The Juggernaut.
Vinnie Jones, who brought the unstoppable character to life in 2006′s X-Men: The Last Stand, explained that he turned down an opportunity to appear in the forthcoming movie.
He opened up about the decision and shared some unfavorable thoughts about his X-Men experience in a recent interview.

Speaking to Yahoo Movies UK, Vinnie revealed that he’d been in touch with director Shawn Levy about filming something. However, it didn’t pan out.
“I spoke to the director, and I just said it’s such a drama putting that suit on mentally and physically,” he recalled. “I mean it had its mental toll as well because you’re in it and you can’t do anything all day, you can only drink through a straw.

This week Ufc Unleashed features some of the best breakthroughs from last year in the shape of Mike Perry, James Vick, Cynthia Calvillo, Paul Felder and Brian Ortega. Perry competes in the Welterweight division and made is debut back in 2016 against Lim Hyun-gyu, where he won on a technical knockout. His 2017 record saw him score two knockouts with Alex Reyes and Jake Ellenberger being taken out in the first and second rounds respectvely. He also suffered a defeat through unanimous decision to Santiao Ponzinibbio. Cynthia Calvillo competes in the strawweight division and is currently ranked 6. She started...read more...

[[tmz:video id="0_p3jupk49"]] Ufc rising star "Platinum" Mike Perry says he knows the devastating right elbow he used to K.O. Perry joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Monday night on FS1) and told us he met with Ellenberger after and thinks he'll bounce back, but if he doesn't ... so be it. Coming off a Pay-per-View that was really only saved by its main event (Ufc 179) and a pair of Ufc Fight Nights in a single weekend that couldn’t have been more different (the exciting Fight Night 55 and disappointing Fight Night 56), the Ufc returns with a conundrum of a card at Ufc 180. Plagued by injuries that saw Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon, amongst others, both depart from the card, and a critical injury to headliner and heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, Ufc 180 has lost a lot of its shine – but there are still three key fights that have major relevance to the featherweight, welterweight and heavyweight divisions.
Not the least of these is the heavyweight division, where an interim heavyweight champion will be crowned. Since defeating Brock Lesnar years ago, Cain Velasquez has fought only two men, a total of five times between them: Antonio Silva (twice), and Junior Dos Santos...

Flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson had his belt on the line at Ufc 174 Vancouver Saturday night.
How would the champion fare? How would the return of Andrei Arlovski play out, and which Rory MacDonald would show up?
The card opened with a bout between Canadian robot-dancer and fastest knockout in Ufc history holder Ryan Jimmo going up against surging Ovince St. Preux, who scored a win with a Von Flue choke in his last fight. Holder of a calf slicer submission earlier in his career, St. Pruex’s submission arsenal is impressive, though he hasn’t actually finished with many. That seems as if it’s going to change. This bout was tough to watch due to the finish – as Ovince, who has really come on of late, worked on a kimura in the second round, Jimmo called out that his arm was broken, and the fight was stopped.
The fact...

Georges St-Pierre (22-2) returns to the octagon after a lay-off of 567 days to face the interim champion, Carlos Condit (28-5), at Ufc 154 in Montreal, Canada. Despite already establishing himself as the best welterweight on the planet, this fight will be the biggest and most difficult of his distinguished career. More important than his treble with Matt Hughes. More important than his battles with Bj Penn.
And the reason for that is simple. This fight more than any other will define Gsp’s place in history.
The Challenger – Carlos Condit
Carlos Condit came into the Ufc via the acquired Wec, where he ran rampant over mainly 2nd tier competition en route to a Wec welterweight belt with three title defenses. After transitioning to the Ufc with a close split decision loss to Martin Kampmann (14-2) at Ufc Fight Night, Condit recovered impressively with a 5-fight win streak.
And not just a win streak.

November 17th, this Saturday, Gsp is back! As the promo said, this might be the most anticipated return in Ufc history. It’s been a long time since we’ve last seen Georges St. Pierre in the octagon. The last time we saw him he didn’t go out on a high note. In his fight with Shields, both men didn’t look like they wanted to be in the octagon. So as a result we recieved a very lackluster fight that nearly ruined an extremely exciting card. Many fans, or I should say internet fans, were not anticipated for anymore Gsp fights. Some went as far as to boycott Gsp. Well, their wish was granted when it was announced Gsp had severely injured his Acl.
It’s been a year since Gsp was injured and in his absence a group of new contenders have emerged. Originally Nick Diaz was...

Ufc 153 takes place on Saturday night on what promises to be a night of great fights. There literally isn’t a bad fight on the card and it also gives fans another opportunity to see a living legend in Anderson Silva. There will be stoppages, there will be submissions and there will be some excellent martial arts on display. Ufc 153 will be big. Don’t miss it.
Demian Maia vs. Rick Story
Demian Maia has all the tools to be a top contender at welterweight. I think his main problem has been is that he seems to have forgotten what propelled him to the top of the middleweight division. It was his devastating Jiu Jitsu that got him a shot at Anderson Silva and whilst he has made himself a more well-rounded fighter he needs to get back to what it is that makes him so dangerous. Not so long...
