Flock Of Dudes is a star-studded bromance dissection about becoming one with maturity, yet Bob Castrone’s film lacks the same motivations that its characters lazily ignore. A who’s who of almost A-list comedians float through a vague, generic period of rediscovery without ever making good on their thematic promises. Comedics flounder, drama dissipates and relationships aimlessly shamble on for far too long, until Castrone’s reformed herd of drunken steers shuffles towards an expected finality. Scot Armstrong’s Search Party went the bromigo route earlier this year, and while Castrone’s film is admittedly more stable, at lest Armstrong swung for the fences. Only Eric André delivers as expected here, while a host of other extremely funny comedians play drab, unfunny versions of themselves – because this is a serious movie, dammit!

Plot: Four best friends in their thirties decide to “break up” in order to face their ultimate fear of getting older. Review: Growing up is becoming increasingly difficult for a lot of men. In an age where many of us still collect superhero figures or still go out and party with friends, age has truly become nothing but a number. That is the appeal of Bob Castrone’s romantic comedy... "You're drunk... You don't want to say something you're not going to be able to take back." Starz Digital has released a trailer for an indie comedy called Flock of Dudes, about a 30-something guy who decides to "break up" with his best buds in order to finally grow up. This also stars Jamie Chung, Hilary Duff, Eric André, Brett Gelman, Bryan Greenberg, Skylar Astin, Hannah Simone, Kumail Nanjiani, Hannibal Buress, and oddly Ray Liotta. There's some funny jokes, just hope there's more to it than bros being bros. Here's the first official trailer for Bob Castrone's Flock of Dudes, direct from YouTube: Adam (Chris D'Elia) is a thirty something...

Playing with Guns has been picked up to pilot... again. The project, which shot a pilot for Spike TV last year but didn't make the cut to series, has now been greenlighted by another Viacom network, Comedy Central. Back is star Danny Masterson and producers Varsity Pictures and Lionsgate TV as well as writers Bob Castrone, Brian Levin and Jason Zumwalt. But now, Masterson is joined by a new co-lead, My Name Is Earl's Ethan Suplee, who replaces Joey Kern. Playing with Guns centers on two best friends (Masterson, Suplee) who had no idea what they wanted to be when they grew up, so they decided to sign up for a job that allows them to hang out together, run red lights, and best of all -- play with guns. So they became cops, patrolling the suburban town they grew up in and trying to get the most out...
