Ask her the reason for delay and she says, "I'm not late to join Bollywood. I've had my journey and I don't come from a film background at all. I come from a very simple professional family background. I just gave an audition because I thought I was a decent dancer. I did Nach Le Ve with Saroj ji. The gorgeous Meenakshi Dixit who will soon be seen playing a sex-worker in her upcoming Movie “P se Pm Tak” is all set to hit the screens on 29th May 2015.
Meenakshi, who rose to fame in Tollywood with special numbers in Dookudu and Baadshah accepted the role as challenge. The film is very much diverse, portraying different aspects of a sex worker. And the actress left no stone unturned for her big debut in Bollywood.
A little birdie told us that to get her act right, Meenakshi did research for her role and even visited one of the red light area in Mumbai. The actress made it a point to interact with the locals of the red light area. She did that, so as to bring in the realistic touch to her character in the film.
And now Meenakshi is all set to give her stellar performance as a sex-worker in the movie.

Kundan Shah's satirical drama P Se Pm Tak will see debutant Meenakshi Dixit playing the lead role in the film. Moreover, this Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron fame director expressed his desire to have a complete fresh cast for the film. Produced by Jayantilal Gada, the film is about a prostitute who quickly gains power as a Chief Minister and later, is a leading candidate for the Prime Minister's chair. The film is set in North India and hence, Shah was in search of a fresh face from in and around the area. Meenakshi is from Lucknow and the filmmaker also revealed that the debutant impressed him with an authentic accent that was required for the role. P Se Pm Tak is slated for a March 2014 release.
