Super Bowl Xlv (aka Ex-El-Vee) is in the books, and the team with the yellow pants won a glorious victory. Wait, they were both wearing yellow pants. I don’t think Nina Garcia would’ve approved. But I digress. A hearty congrats goes out to the Green Bay Packers (sponsored by Cheese ™), and now that we’ve got the sports shenanigans out of the way, let’s talk about the evening’s other high-stakes game: The battle among Madison Avenue firms to create the ultimate Super Bowl ad.

This trailer for Jinn was made available earlier this month, but this horror movie lover was too knee deep in Geoffrey Chaucer to do anything about it. Now, a high quality version of the clip is available and Jinn is the story of mythological spirits, known throughout much of the Muslim world.
In western countries the Jinn are known as Genies and these creatures have been given some darker colouring in this film and in another called Red Sands. If you like mythology from other cultures, then you will likely like this trailer for Jinn below.
The synopsis for Jinn:
"Man made of Clay. Angels made of Light. And a Third...made of Fire.
From the beginning, stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries,...

We've been following Jinn for sometime now. Finally, we have a teaser trailer to show you, which actually premiered last night, on Halloween. Jinn is written and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad and stars Dominic Rains, Ray Park, William Atherton, Faran Tahir and Serinda Swan.
Plot:
In the Beginning, Three were Created...
Man made of Clay.
Angels made of Light.
And a Third...made of Fire.
From the beginning, stories of angels and men have captured our imaginations and have been etched into our history crossing all boundaries of culture, religion, and time. These two races have dominated the landscape of modern mythology for countless centuries, almost washing away the evidence that a third ever existed. This third race, born of smokeless fire, was called the jinn. Similar to humans in many ways, the jinn lived invisibly among us and only under dire or unusual circumstances were our paths ever meant to cross.

It seems we've been following Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad's Jinn for a while now and i'm kinda ready for it to be done and ready to watch! this newest image is kinda cool meaning that they don't follows the "sand" story everyone is used to with these tales.
The films stars Dominic Rains, Ray Park, William Atherton, Faran Tahir and Serinda Swan and follows a more accurate tale of the Jinn.
Plot:

"Actor Ryo Ikebe died of sepsis at a Tokyo hospital on October 8," reports Tokyograph News. "He was 92."
For Variety, Mark Schilling notes that Ikebe originally intended to become a director for the Toho studio. "His soft-featured, city-bred good looks drew the attention of Toho helmer Yasujiro Shimazu, who cast Ikebe in the 1941 pic Fighting Fish (Togyo)." Following World War II, "Ikebe moved from young leading man roles to a wider range of parts, such as the elite bureaucrat who falls into self-destructive dissipation in Minoru Shibuya's Modern Man (Gendaijin, 1952) and the cheating businessman in a troubled marriage in Yasujiro Ozu's Early Spring (Soshun, 1956)." He then rode the Japanese New Wave, "starring as an ex-con who takes up with a fast-living younger women in Masahiro Shinoda's seminal gangster pic Pale Flower (Kawaita Hana, 1964)," which, of course, has just screened in the Shinoda Masterworks series at this year's New York Film Festival.
