For queer pop culture fanatics, Netflix’s “Glamorous” is the gift that keeps on giving.
Beyond the homages to everything from “9 to 5” and “Clue” (including a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to Jade’s infamous Cover Girl commercial on “America’s Next Top Model”) and an early aughts party so dead-on it will induce vertigo in viewers of a certain age, there’s also Miss Benny’s wardrobe as assistant Marco, newly hired at Glamorous by Madolyn as Madolyn Addison’s assistant. (Even the name of Kim Cattrall’s character feels like a reference to Meryl Streep’s Madeline Ashton in gay cult classic “Death Becomes Her.”)
A gender-nonconforming queer man, Marco begins as a struggling makeup vlogger and ends in full glam, complete with a twinkling pantsuit straight from the Nicole Kidman for AMC collection. For a show that lives up to its name and for a non-binary character, the fits...

‘Glamorous’ Trailer: Kim Cattrall Gets Her ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Moment in Netflix Queer Comedy Series
Netflix’s upcoming series “Glamorous” is like “The Devil Wears Prada” if Meryl Streep were replaced by “Sex and the City’s” Kim Cattrall and instead of Anne Hathaway, she hired drag queens and non-binary actor Miss Benny to work for her. The 10-episode LGBTQ comedy series premieres June 22 on the streamer.
“Glamorous” follows baby-faced new hire Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a young, queer man who lands a job for the legendary CEO Madolyn Addison (Cattrall). Madolyn’s makeup line, Glamorous Cosmetics, is plummeting. Suspecting her business is being sabotaged by someone on the inside, she hires Marco to sleuth around.
“She wants him to be her eyes and ears, to make friends — and find out what’s going on behind her back, to discover what they’re hiding and what they’re stealing. In exchange, she’ll teach Marco everything she knows – but she warns him, ‘This business isn’t all glitter and glamour,...

Netflix fans are still obsessing over Ginny & Georgia Season 2. The acclaimed series follows mother/daughter duo Georgia (Brianne Howey) and Ginny (Antonia Gentry) as they settle into a new town and try to form a new life for themselves.
Season 1 served as an introduction to the pair. However, in season 2, Ginny underwent a major transformation.

Though mental health is a much-discussed topic, TV rarely gets it right, especially when unpacking teens’ mental health. However, in season 2, Ginny & Georgia did a fantastic job of addressing some of the things that Ginny struggles with.
“I admire Ginny’s vulnerability this season,” Gentry told Tudum. “Georgia has these vulnerable moments, but it’s very much hidden behind this big grandiose persona that she uses as a defense mechanism.

Ginny & Georgia has dominated the Netflix charts since the second season debuted. Set in Wellsbury, Massachusetts, the drama series follows 31-year-old Georgia (Brianne Howey) and her 16-year-old daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) as they navigate their relationship and their personal lives.
The series revealed so much in season 2, but who is Mary?

Get ready to start the new year right with the return of Netflix‘s Georgia & Ginny. Season 2 kicks off Thursday, January 5, 2023 on the streamer. The show was created by Sarah Lampert, who executive produces the drama about a mother and daughter alongside showrunner Debra J. Fisher. Season 2 picks up with Ginny (Antonia Gentry) having to figure out how to live with the knowledge that her mother is a murderer. Burdened with the new understanding that her step-dad, Kenny, didn’t die of natural causes, Ginny now has to deal with the fact that Georgia (Brianne Howey) not only killed, but she did it to protect Ginny. (Credit: Amanda Matlovich/Netflix) Georgia, on the other hand, would much prefer to leave the past in the past, especially when she has a wedding to plan. Of course, putting the past behind you is easier said than done because Georgia’s past never stays buried for long.
