There's stretching yourself, and then there's what Bradley Cooper is doing right now. Fresh off the news that Cooper would be joining Netflix's resurrected Wet Hot American Summer, Deadline today reported that the actor — who is currently appearing on Broadway in The Elephant Man and making the Oscar rounds for American Sniper, which he also produced — is now looking to direct, with his first project possibly a buddy comedy with Robert de Niro called Honeymoon With Harry. With the addition of rumors that Cooper helped with the editing of American Sniper, we are eagerly anticipating 2016's Cooper, starring Bradley Cooper, directed by Bradley Cooper, written by Bradley Cooper off the short-story collection by B. Charles Cooper, edited by Bradley Cooper, with cinematography by B.C. Cooper and sound design by Bradley Cooper.

There's much to be astonished by in the story of how the Supreme Court was goaded in slapping down Proposition 8, California's gay marriage ban. One of the most surprising: that in courtroom after courtroom, be they state, district, or superior, Charles Cooper and the proponents of the ban never cooked up one single compelling legal argument, not even the kind that just sounds good enough for sympathetic judges to sign on with.
Ben Cotner and Ryan White's stirring new documentary, The Case Against 8, showcases the lawyers and plaintiffs who came together (with Rob Reiner's money) to challenge the statewide ban, which passed as a ballot measure in November 2008. The filmmakers target the heart rather than the complex legal maneuverings. Expect to spend more time relishi...

Sir Richard Branson boycotts Dorchester Hotels, Maggie Gallagher touts defeat on marriage, Justice Ginsberg reflects on Windsor
Sir Richard Branson says that all Virgin companies and employees are boycotting hotels owned by the Dorchester Collection, and the Sultan of Brunei until he rescinds Sharia Law, including death by stoning for homosexuality.
The Human Rights Campaign is also calling on Lgbt groups and allies to boycott the hotels as well. ““There are a number of hotels and venues in the Los Angeles area that aren’t owned by foreign leaders and governments that allow for the execution of its Lgbt citizens. We’re encouraging members of the Lgbt community and our allies to consider those options instead of the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air––which are part of the Sultan’s Dorchester Collection. In addition, we’re calling on organizations that have upcoming events scheduled at these hotels to move them to other locations.

"(My mum and I are) surviving. Let's face it, It's probably not easy for her, by the way, to be living with her son. It's life. And right now, two years after my father's death, this is where we are," Bradley told Details magazine.

He also explained that the loss of his stockbroker father, Charles Cooper, forced him to re-evaluate what matters most in life, reports showbizspy.com.

"Flight Risk" was centered around a plane crash that was caused because of a murder that was a result of selling drugs.
No, wait, it was because the drug smuggling led to Cooper sabotaging a plane flight full of lawyers trying to take down a huge food company... I'm missing something... Now I'm getting all confused again. You see, I love this show, it always seems to mess with my mind a little bit.
This episode had many twists and turns, more than we've seen all season. Granted, I knew who the killer was right off the bat, making everything else that was added seemed like a bonus.
We also saw more of Watson's struggles as she tries to break through to Holmes and know him on a more personal level. But before I get to that part, let me first discuss this week's investigation.

Microscope Gallery
4 Charles Place
Brooklyn, NY 11221
Hosted by: Microscope Gallery
Throughout the month of February, Brooklyn’s Microscope Gallery will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of NYC’s Film-makers’ Cooperative, the oldest and largest artist-run coop in the world. While the opening reception for this special exhibit will be at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 11, at 5:00 p.m. will be a special screening of rare 16mm films by the legendary Jack Smith.
Ironically, Smith would probably be furious about this special event if he were still alive, thanks to his severe falling out with the Coop’s founder Jonas Mekas. But, with several new 16mm prints of many of his “lost” films, this event promises to be one of the premiere avant-garde screenings of 2012. So, screw Jack. The films that will be screening are: Respectable Creatures, Song for Rent, Hot Air Specialists, Overstimulated, Scotch Tape,...

Laura Linney wasn't the only actress who had personal reasons for missing the Golden Globes. Scheduled presenter Renée Zellweger skipped the party Sunday night to be with beau Bradley Cooper, whose father, Charles Cooper, died Jan. 15 after a long illness. The couple has been spending time with Cooper's family in Pennsylvania. Charles, a retired Merrill Lynch broker who thanks to his hunky son had a cameo in The A-Team as "Judge Advocate No. 3," is survived by Brad, daughter Holly and wife Gloria. Linney, who was named Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy, missed the ceremony after the passing of her own father, playwright Romulus Linney, on Saturday.
