Greyson Chance is poking fun at his negative experience with Ellen DeGeneres.
In a new TikTok video, the 26-year-old “shut up” singer says a lot about the television personality – without actually saying anything at all.
Keep reading to find out more…
Greyson stitched a creator, Dasilva, who commented, “Y’all remember the days where going viral got you on Ellen?”
In response to that observation, Greyson set his phone down on a table, stepped back, and took a long, deep breath. As he breathed out, he slowly sunk under the table with a small smirk.
Greyson was 12 when he went viral for performing a cover of Lady Gaga‘s “Paparazzi.” He then appeared on Ellen and they developed a personal and professional relationship.
It’s no secret that the singer isn’t a huge fan of the former talk show host. In a 2022 interview, he called her “manipulative,” “self-centered,” and “blatantly opportunistic.

Threads, a brand-new social app from Instagram that bears more than a passing resemblance to Twitter, has already pulled in a massive user base, notching 50 million signups just a day after launch. The Silicon Valley shakeup is exacerbating tensions between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, with attorneys for the former already arguing that Instagram parent Meta hired “dozens” of former Twitter employees and “misappropriated” its trade secrets to develop the rival app.

Charlie Puth accused Ellen DeGeneres‘ record label of ghosting him… and his claims aren’t so shocking given Greyson Chance‘s recent similar allegations.
During an October 8 appearance on Rolling Stone Music Now, the hitmaker recalled DeGeneres’ label, Eleveneleven, vanishing from the picture shortly after signing him.
Puth alleged, “Not putting any blame on one person, but from a collective… all the people that were in that room, they just disappeared. I didn’t hear from anybody.”
DeGeneres signed Puth and his song partner, Emily Luther, to her label back in 2011 after they went viral on YouTube with their cover of “Someone Like You” by Adele.
Regardless of his allegations, Puth didn’t seem to have any hard feelings toward the popular talk show host. “People describe Ellen as rude,” he said during the episode. “I’ve never experienced that. Maybe she likes me.”

Charlie Puth has claimed that Ellen DeGeneres’s record label “disappeared” after he recorded his first EP, as he discussed Greyson Chance’s recent allegations against the presenter.
Last month, former teen pop star Greyson Chance spoke out against DeGeneres, claiming that she had “controlled” and then “completely abandoned” him after signing him to her now-defunct record label, eleveneleven, in 2010, when he was 12.
The presenter originally discovered Chance after a clip of him singing Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” went viral, with DeGeneres inviting the pre-teen on her show and starting a trend in which she would often interview the stars of popular internet videos.
DeGeneres has not responded to the claims, although sources claimed that the presenter “went above and beyond” for Chance.
Now singer Puth, who also signed with eleveneleven in 2011 after DeGeneres saw a viral clip of him singing Adele’s “Someone Like You”, has spoken about his own experiences with eleveneleven.

Charlie Puth’s strong new album, Charlie, is the product of two break-ups — one with a longtime business associate, the other with a girlfriend. “It was a loss at one time of two relationships that I thought I needed to succeed,” he says in a revealing interview on the new episode of Rolling Stone Music Now. “I realized that I’m capable of a lot of things, and making an album is one of them – and I’m gonna do this myself. Justin Bieber has cancelled his remaining world tour dates as he continues to make his “health a priority”.
The singer had previously cancelled 12 dates in October from the tour, but was due to resume the shows in Dubai later this month.
However the rest of the dates have now been “officially postponed” to next year, with no further information provided on any rescheduled dates.
In June, Bieber announced he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and had been experiencing “full paralysis” on the right side of his face as a result of the rare virus.
‘Justin Bieber today announced that the remaining dates of his World Tour are being postponed,” read a statement on social media.
The original world tour had been scheduled to take place in 2020, but like everything else, was put on hold due to the pandemic. The tour eventually began in February this year, with Bieber playing across three continents.

Twelve years after the musician Greyson Chance went viral for a cover of “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga, he is now speaking about his experience being mentored by Ellen DeGeneres. He was formerly signed to her eleveneleven record label and got many of opportunities after appearing on her show and elsewhere, but now has much less love for her and referred to her as “controlling” and “manipulative” in a new interview with Rolling Stone.
The host awarded Chance 10,000 and a new piano on the show, and even offered to help guide his career which he and his family accepted. After DeGeneres guided him through recording his first EP and tours, Chance realized that she had “became domineering and way too controlling,” also adding that one text from DeGeneres could upend “my whole whole week, my whole month, my whole year.”
He also recounted a story of hearing DeGeneres berate his mother...

Ellen DeGeneres went “above and beyond” for Greyson Chance, a source close to the star’s talk show has claimed.

Ellen DeGeneres went “above and beyond” for Greyson Chance, who on Thursday doubled down on his claims that the former “Ellen DeGeneres Show” host was “manipulative” and “way too controlling.”

What’s more, the source tells Et that Chance’s experience — laid out in detail in a new Rolling Stone profile — was not the experience the “Ellen” team had with Chance.

Greyson Chance and I are sitting in the Hollywood Hills home of producer Brett McLaughlin on a warm August morning. The quaint spot is where Chance — the 25-year-old musician who got his start on The Ellen Show as a tween — stays when he visits L.A. from Oklahoma, where he owns a home. The place is typically filled with the boisterous energy of the artists McLaughlin works with.

One of the most beautiful things about music is how you can continuously tie artists together and find new music by following the web of musicians. That's how I found Jp Saxe, and oh my good lord, you guys, I need you to come along on this journey with me. The singer just released his first Ep, Hold It Together, and it's one of the most honest and lovely collections of songs I think I've ever heard.
I stumbled upon Jp through a few of his labelmates (Louis Tomlinson and Greyson Chance) and saw him in concert when he opened for Noah Kahan. I may have been new to Jp, but he had me sold when he ever so politely scolded the audience at the show for being rude during his set. Nineteen-year-old Greyson Chance, who struck the viral video lottery in 2010 with a clip uploaded to YouTube showing him covering Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi during a middle school talent show, announced yesterday that he is gay by way of Instagram.
“I came to fully recognize that I was gay when I was sixteen,” he wrote alongside a photograph of a rainbow. “I decided not to publicize my sexuality largely due to a matter of privacy, as I was still trying to find comfort and confidence within my own skin.” Chance acknowledges that “while this message is most definitely overdue, I encourage anyone who is navigating their sexuality to devote as much time as they need to the process of finding self-confidence, self-acceptance, and self-love.”

The original 1987 Dirty Dancing is a movie that worked against all odds. Eighties sensibility (and hairstyles and theme song) shoehorned into a Sixties nostalgia piece, a miniscule budget, a cast of unknowns, and a troubled production – not to mention a heroine named … Baby. And yet it positively crackled, thanks to Eleanor Bergstein's deeply personal script, crazy chemistry between leads Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze, and the ethereal gyrations of the late, great Swayze.

Greyson Chance, who ascended to renown in 2010 after a cover clip of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi went wildly viral, has signed with talent management company Digital Brand Architects (Dba). Chance, who notably appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show after his performance at a sixth-grade musical festival nabbed upwards of 59 million views, most recently released a docuseries called The Drop on Fullscreen, chronicling his musical journey.
Dba was also founded in 2010 by co-CEOs Karen Robinovitz and Raina Penchansky, and reps top influencers like fashion bloggers Something Navy and Aimee Song as well as the Instagram-famous puppy Toast Meets World. While Dba will represent 19-year-old Chance in the digital realm -- including social media, literary opportunities, TV, product creation, events, and ecommerce -- he will retain his music booking agent at Wme and his music manager, Alex Ziabko, at Cultiv8.

There's an almost unnerving anesthetic quality to Ellen DeGeneres that allows her to manipulate the general public into doing basically whatever she tells them to do (except for, I guess, actually spending money on a Greyson Chance album), and the daytime talk-show host used that quality to her advantage at this year's Oscars when her celeb-studded selfie became the most retweeted Twitter post of all time. Not to be outdone, Jimmy Kimmel decided to challenge Ellen's record on Saturday night after conducting a sit-down interview with the Clinton family at Arizona State University in Tempe, posting his own selfie with Bill, Hillary, Chelsea and what appears to be an insanely well-orchestrated rainbow coalition of students (which is very, very on-brand of the Clintons I might add). And...ok, so he fell about 3,392,000 retweets short of the goal. Then again, unlike Ellen he also doesn't have the benefit of evil superpowers.

“We will move on from Lady Gaga as soon as the next shiny object catches our attention.” This is where we left off at the end of the last investigation of Stefani Germanotta, better known to the world as Lady Gaga, back in 2011. Gaga has maintained relative radio silence up until recently, when she released the admittedly catchy “Applause.”
“Applause” itself is undeniably a well-polished ear worm, but hampered by Gaga’s annoying roar in certain parts and lyrical content that once again shows how shallow the message actually is. Whereas previous Gaga singles at least attempted to divorce themselves from her overwhelming public persona (simple songs about girls in clubs who get drunk), this new song is unmistakably about the Lady herself. Lyrics like “I live for the applause/Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me” draw Gaga’s narcissistic obsession to center stage, as...
