As the weeks go by on "America's Next Top Model," the contestants' faults are smizing harder than they are. On Wednesday's (Nov. 3) episode, Liz and her constant whining were the first to be sent home from Italy.
We're pretty sure that not only was the panel turned off by her hoochie stance on that gondola in the photo shoot, but also when she cut them off to tell them it was hard to balance standing there. It's your job to make it look effortless, Andre Leon Talley's "oh, no she didn't" look seemed to say.
Liz wasn't alone with her issues. All the other girls are carrying their own, as well.
Sure, they're human and everyone has problems, but not everyone is on national TV trying to be a top model. And these are things that could potentially send them home.
Chris: She thinks she knows everything and let's face it,...

When Esther Petrack left "America's Next Top Model," she did so very similarly to how she competed: Quietly and without much drama.
"I'm going to go down the way I want to go down," she tells Zap2it. "It's part of the journey its part of who you are, so are your going to crumble during it or are you going to take it with pride, grace and with class?"
Ironically, that same attitude is probably what got her eliminated. Tyra Banks comes from the "Supermodel" era of modeling when they apparently scratched each other's eyes out to get the job. And so to her and the judges, Esther's lack of "showmanship" meant she didn't want it bad enough. Here are 5 questions for Esther, the girl who went down without a fight:
1.) You had a kosher diet. Did the show give you the means in which to be able to do that?...

"America's Next Top Model" tested the model hopefuls for personality on Wednesday night's episode and Tyra Banks declared that Esther was found wanting. She said that Esther was a beautiful, curvy model, but she wasn't right for commercials. Now "The Insider" talks to the 18-year-old from Boston, Ma, who was also criticized for having large breasts, and she revealed what a professional model said to her about having a reduction. "The Insider": How hard was it to get this far and then to be sent home because Tyra said the judges felt you didn't show your personality enough? Esther: It is hard, but it is hard for every girl who goes home. I went in thinking I would be one of the first two to go. I went in thinking, "It is really cool that I made it this far. I am really proud of myself. But let’s be real.

Hailing from Massachusetts but born in Israel, brunette beauty Esther Petrack was memorable on this cycle of America's Next Top Model for several reasons: First, she took this gorgeous photo at right with fashion photographer Matthew Rolston, easily one of my favorites, if not #1, from the season so far. More on that below. She also entered the cast with a splash, revealing to the judges her 30G chest size and that she is an observing Orthodox Jew. She promised neither would get in her way as a model--and they didn't.
What got in Esther's way, surprisingly enough, was that the judges deemed her not memorable during the all-important photo shoots. I had the chance to chat with Esther, who's currently back in Israel, on the phone this morning about her time on Top Model, including what the other girls in the house thought of her, and what she thought of their latest challenge,...

Esther has become the latest girl to be eliminated on America's Next Top Model. The 18-year-old from Boston, Massachusetts was sent home from The CW competition on Wednesday night after the judges failed to see a spark in her Zac Posen runway show challenge and a later rollerskating commercial. Tyra said she was "proud" of Esther's achievements on the show and said she set an "amazing example" for young girls with her curves, suggesting that she should go home and work on the feedback she was given by the judges. The episode opened as the girls recounted the previous elimination. Liz said that she felt great to have broken Ann's top photo streak, while Ann admitted that it was a "disappointment" that she didn't get it, although added that she wasn't afraid of going home but knew everybody else had been improving. Meanwhile, (more)...

The top models were separated from the pack on Wednesday's Oct. 27 episode of "America's Next Top Model," in which Tyra Banks put the girls on skates and we watched some of them fall right into the bottom of the heap.
It's really anyone's contest at this point. Ann, with her 5-photo challenge-winning streak broken, has continued to falter as speaking and moving are starting to take over the competition. She looked like a newly born deer walking on wobbly legs in the Zac Posen runway show.
Then when Ann had to strap on roller skates for a commercial challenge, her fear got the better of her and she skated right into this week's bottom two with Esther. Ouch, that fall must have hurt! We weren't referring to her actual fall, though that looked painful too.
Chris, who has no problem in the confidence department, took the top spot this week.

So far in Cycle 15 of America’s Next Top Model, the show has upped the ante by bringing A-list guests such as Karolina Kurkova and, this week, Patrick Demarchelier, the famous photographer.
As Tyra continues to emphasize, this cycle is all about the high fashion... which was why it was a bit confusing when the models were led to Wal-Mart for their challenge, with Kacey, Esther, and Kayla winning CoverGirl Wal-Mart cosmetics after pitching makeup to a whole lot of tween girls. Granted, Esther did get a $1,000 shopping spree, but after some of the prizes (like Kacey’s gorgeous jewelry from last week), this felt a bit lackluster.
For the actual challenge, the girls were split into groups of three and familiarized themselves with CoverGirl products. As Nigel Barker greets them at Wal-Mart, Antm turns into a miniature CoverGirl commercial.

The 15th cycle of America’s Next Top Model is all about being on “top," more than ever before.
Having faced criticism because none of the models make a real impact in the fashion world after their 15 minutes of fame on Antm, this season promises “real” prizes such as a “real” cover on Italian Vogue and “real” top photographers to shoot the aspiring models, which makes me feel bad for the winners of the previous cycles who apparently got shafted.
The second episode begins with the girls on Venice Beach, where a vagabond-like singer directs them to their new digs for the season. It’s huge and gorgeous of course, adorned with pictures of Vogue Italia, the theme of the season. As usual, Antm is full of quirky personalities and strange revelations, as Ann reveals that “hobos are hot” and she’ll date someone “up to 60.” Oh, and he also...
