Eddie Marsan, David Morse, Richard Brake, and Diora Baird are aboard as the supporting cast of The Virtuoso, a modern day noir thriller directed and produced by Nick Stagliano. "The Beast" is a short film that centers around three characters, Jacob, his father Michael and his uncle Douglas. It is a full moon and Michael and Douglas are tying up Jacob to a tree to keep others safe. Jacob is afflicted with the curse of the werewolf, and his father refuses to kill him.
Bill Oberst Jr. plays Michael and gives a wonderful performance. You can see the pain in his eyes as he sees his son go through this. He can't bring himself to terminate him, even though he knows it is the right thing to do.
Peter Le Bas also gives an excellent performance as Douglas. He tries to convince Michael to kill Jacob. When Michael declines, Douglas tries to take matters into his own hands and end Jacob's life. Michael attempts to stop Douglas and during their struggle, Jacob is able to escape.

For years, Lifetime haters have railed against the dull, amateurish, soapy original movies shown on this cable channel. Well, step away from the TV set, doubters, the new original Lifetime movie, Of Two Minds , smashes all of those generalizations. This is an engrossing movie and is led by a pitch perfect performance by Tammy Blanchard. When awards are handed out next year she should be at the front of the line.
Of Two Minds is a tale of two sisters. Billie (Kristin Davis) is a woman who has it all. She has a loving husband, a job she enjoys and two kids she adores. Her one sibling is Elizabeth, called Baby (Blanchard). Baby is schizophrenic and lives with the girls' mother (Bonnie Bartlett). When the mother has a stroke Billie gets the call from her Aunt Will (Louise Fletcher). She rushes to her mother's bedside. In their one brief conversation...
