My Daemon is Netflix’s latest addition to its plethora of animated content. This one is actually really good. Read our full review to learn more. The series is set in post-apocalyptic Japan, after the daemonium particles from Hell have been dispersed into the earth’s atmosphere, causing the birth of mixed-breed creatures called daemons (very smart). Kento is a kindhearted young boy who has an affinity for daemons and raises one who goes by Anna. She’s an adorable dog-like creature who loves Kento like a master and doesn’t harm anyone. At the same time, the daemons are considered ungodly creatures, only meant to hurt people, and so there are organizations trying to eradicate them from the earth for human survival.
Spoilers Ahead
Why Does Kento Like Daemons?
According to science, the human race has an innate distaste for the daemons, but Kento seems to like them all.

It looks like The CW will have to find a new Powerpuff Girl to fill Blossom's Mary Janes, so someone tell Mojo Jojo to put any evil plans on hold, please. According to Variety, Chloe Bennett will no longer be playing Blossom in the Powerpuff Girls live-action reboot.
After deep criticism from fans about the show's wardrobe choices, the network decided to put the project on hold to reshoot specific scenes and redevelop the series, making many fans skeptical that the project is still happening at all. As a result of the series, currently titled Powerpuff, being pushed back, Warner Bros. Television tried to extend Bennet's contract, but scheduling conflicts reportedly forced her to leave the show. To turn the crime-fighting duo back into a trio, The CW will begin casting for Blossom in the fall.

Chloe Bennet has stepped down as one of the three leads in the live-action CW pilot based on “The Powerpuff Girls,” Variety has learned exclusively.
Bennet was set to star as Blossom in the pilot, which is currently titled “Powerpuff.” The show was originally in contention during pilot season earlier this year for a potential fall air date, but The CW made the decision to redevelop and reshoot it instead, with CW chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz calling the first pilot “a miss.”
According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, studio Warner Bros. Television wanted to extend Bennet’s option as they reworked the pilot, but scheduling conflicts forced her to exit instead. Casting for a new third Powerpuff Girl will begin in the fall.

Here is your first official look at the CW’s “Powerpuff Girls” pilot.
The series stars Chloe Bennet as Blossom, Dove Cameron as Bubbles and Yana Perrault as Buttercup. Donald Faison will play their father Professor Drake Utonium, Nicholas Podany will play the show’s version of villain Mojo Jojo named Joseph “Jojo” Mondel Jr. and Robyn Lively will play Sara Bellum.
The series, simply titled “Powerpuff,” was first announced as being in development back in August. Based on the Cartoon Network series created by Craig McCracken, the new series sees the pint-sized superheroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?
A set photo of Bennet, Cameron and Perrault in their “official” Powerpuff uniforms was previously circulating on social media, but the characters only wear the costumes in flashbacks to their teenage years.

The CW has found its main antagonist for its “Powerpuff Girls” TV series. Nicholas Podany will play Joseph “Jojo” Mondel Jr., better known as the son of Mojo Jojo, the villainous chimpanzee that frequently battled the Powerpuff Girls.
As a kid, the nerdy, power-hungry, insecure JoJo was obsessed with the Powerpuff Girls despite his father’s grudge against them. As an adult, JoJo finds his sweetness and rage in constant battle. For those not familiar with the comics, Mojo was Professor Utonium’s lab assistant and accidently helped to create the Powerpuff Girls.
Podany is best known for playing Albus Potter in the Broadway production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” He also appeared previously on The CW’s “Hart of Dixie.”
From Warner Bros. Television, the new version of the beloved Cartoon Network series, titled “Powerpuff,” follows heroines Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as “disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime-fighting.

Dove Cameron is getting ready to take on one of her dream roles as Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls. After previously tweeting about wanting to play the character back in 2013, the 25-year-old actress recently revealed that she would be portraying the iconic role on The CW's upcoming live-action reboot. Of course, this isn't going to be your typical Powerpuff Girls show. This time, the superheroes will be young women, dealing with real-life issues.
While chatting with Cameron about the upcoming release of her new single "LazyBaby," I had a chance to ask about the upcoming series, and let's just say, she might be more excited than we are. "The second it was announced on Twitter, I screenshotted it and sent it to [my team]. I was like, guys, I just need to audition. I don't even care if they don't see me for the role, I just need to audition,...
