The Ghosts season 3 finale left fans on yet another cliffhanger. This is the third time writers have wrapped up a season and left fans with a lot of questions, and each cliffhanger appears to be getting more dramatic. In season 2, fans were left to question if one of their beloved spirits had been “sucked off.” Season 3 ended with Captain Isaac Higgintoot being taken by a spirit he had wronged many years earlier. With Isaac missing, fans are left to wonder if he will ever return. Brandon Scott Jones, the actor who plays the role of the Revolutionary War spirit, is confident fans have not seen the last of him.

While Brandon Scott Jones isn’t sure what the future holds for Isaac Higgintoot, he seems confident that Ghosts fans will get to see more of him in season 4. In a chat with TV Insider,...

"You're too lovable to hate." Awwww. Roadside Attractions has revealed the official trailer for a summer comedy called Summer Camp, hitting theaters at the end of May for everyone to enjoy. Back in the early 2000s this would've been the kind of movie that a studio would've promoted a summer blockbuster, but now it's just a simple release from Roadside. Summer Camp follows Nora, Ginny, and Mary, three childhood best friends who used to spend every summer at a sleep away camp together. After years apart seeing each other less & less, when the opportunity to get back together for a summer camp reunion presents itself, they all seize it and head off for an adventure together. Getting into all kinds of trouble camp trouble, or so it seems! Rafting, zip lines, food fights, and more shenanigans. This stars Diane Keaton as Nora, Kathy Bates as Ginny, and Alfre Woodard as Mary,...

Earlier this month, Roadside Attractions announced that they had acquired distribution rights to the comedy Summer Camp, written and directed by Castille Landon (Perfect Addiction). With a release date of May 31 quickly approaching, Roadside has already revealed the trailer and poster.
Summer Camp tells the story of Nora (Diane Keaton), Ginny (Kathy Bates), and Mary (Alfre Woodard), who have been best friends since being inseparable at summer camp. As the years have passed, they’ve seen each other less and less, so when the chance to reunite for a summer camp reunion arises, they all take it, some begrudgingly and others excitedly.
Each of their lives might not be where they’d imagined, but one thing is for sure — Nora, Ginny, and Mary need each other, and summer camp reminds them why.
In addition to Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, and Alfre Woodard, the cast includes Dennis Haysbert, Eugene Levy, Josh Peck,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ghosts Season 3, Episode 5, “The Silent Partner.”] Ghosts‘ latest episode, “The Silent Partner,” took time in its final minutes to lay the groundwork for one of the show’s next couples as Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) finally saw arrow-skewered Pete (Richie Moriarty) in a whole new light. After Pete’s wife Carol (Caroline Aaron) died in the Woodstone kitchen during a Halloween shindig, she’s found herself living among the other spirited residents. As she got acclimated to the social climate, she learned more about Pete’s life in Woodstone, and to look less pathetic in her eyes, he begged for someone to pretend to be his girlfriend. (Credit: Bertrand Calmeau/CBS) Ultimately, Alberta stepped up to the plate, feeling bad for her friend, but she tried drawing a line in the sand, saying that this scheme shouldn’t wind up with them falling in love. Pete ultimately cracked under pressure when...

Last week, CBS comedy Ghosts resolved an enormous cliffhanger in its season 3 premiere. Now episode 2, “Man of Your Dreams,” provides the answer to another long standing mystery. Tonight, Sas’ special supernatural power is revealed and it raises some ethical questions as to how he can alter the actions of the living.
“Man of Your Dreams” also serves as the transition point between the shock of the premiere and the plotlines that will dominate the remainder of this third season. Den of Geek spoke to Ghosts showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman to discover why they chose to reveal Sas’ power and what fans can expect for the rest of this shorter-than-usual season.
“We still have a few big unanswered questions on the series,” Wiseman said. “We don’t know Pete or Hetty’s power, and we also don’t know how a couple of the ghosts died.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the Season 3 premiere of “Ghosts,” titled “The Owl,” which aired Feb. 15 on CBS.
Flower, hopefully you’re finally getting to cuddle a few bears up there in the sky. Yes, you read that right: There’s one less ghost on “Ghosts,” as the characters said farewell to Flower on the Season 3 premiere of CBS’ hit comedy.
The series finally returned on Thursday (after a long strikes-induced delay), and we learned which spirit had been finally sent to the afterlife. After a few fakeouts, the ghosts discovered that it was Flower (Sheila Carrasco) who was “sucked off” in the Season 2 finale, as witnessed by Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar).
Flower is the 1960s-era hippie who died trying to hug a bear while high on acid, and remained a bit forgetful and drugged-out while living in the purgatory that is Woodstone Mansion.

The series is based on the Caldecott and Newbery Award-winning four-book series by Arnold Lobel published by HarperCollins Children’s Books.
Per Apple: Frog is a frog. Toad is a toad. They have a lot in common… but they are also very different. Fox is reducing its roster of animated series by one.

Whether you love the Sylvester Stallone-starring arm wrestling comedy “Over the Top” or think, “eh, maybe I don’t need a Sylvester Stallone-starring arm wrestling comedy in my life,” there’s a new option that will be more appealing: Maureen Bharoocha’s “Golden Arm,” which that it should please every stripe of arm wrestling comedy fan. Aided by a go-for-broke performance by star Mary Holland — consistently the best thing in many projects, and here finally getting the lead role she deserves — “Golden Arm” might be destined for the same sort of cult status as Sly’s version, and that’s just fine for this charming indie comedy.
Written by screenwriting duo Ann Marie Allison and Jenna Milly, who make their feature debut with the film, “Golden Arm” ably contorts the usual sports film tropes — an unlikely contender, a big final match, plenty of personal demons — into a new take on the genre.

For “Drunk History” co-creator and host Derek Waters, it’s pretty bittersweet to still be campaigning for an Emmy now that his show has been canceled. Comedy Central, which is mostly getting out of the live-action comedy business, announced earlier this month that it had rescinded a Season 7 order for “Drunk History,” and Waters admits it still isn’t clear what happens next.
“It sounds a little dramatic, but it’s like a funeral without any music,” he told Variety‘s Awards HQ. “I would love to finish what I started. It would just be nice to end on your own terms, to say goodbye and not just be like, ‘that’s it.'”
Waters, who created the show with fellow executive producer Jeremy Konner, said he still hasn’t been given an “actual answer why it happened … no one’s called me. I have no idea. I have no verification of it.

San Diego Comic-Con’s first-ever Comic-Con@Home comes to a close Sunday, ending a five-day lineup of almost entirely prerecorded virtual panels.
San Diego Comic-Con 2020 was canceled in April due to the coronavirus pandemic, marking the first time the annual pop culture event won’t happen as planned in its 50-year history. In May, Comic-Con International revealed it would be holding a free virtual con in lieu of the traditional in-person con.
The online convention, dubbed Comic-Con@Home, will take place July 22-26, the same time span during which San Diego Comic-Con would have been held. Between 300 and 400 virtual panels are planned for the event.

Amy Poehler already voices more than one character for Fox’s animated series “Duncanville,” but she’s going to add another to that list for Season 2 — at least for one fantastic scene where her beloved “Parks and Recreation” character has a cameo.
In a first-look clip from “Duncanville’s” second season, which you can view via the video above, Annie (Poehler) wakes up her whole family to watch The Oakie Awards nominations with her. She’s confident she’ll finally get a nod this year — even though she never has before — and, as the names are being read off by the mayor, one turns out to be Leslie, “the annoyingly upbeat woman from the parks department.”
We then cut to an animated version of the civil servant whom Poehler played for seven seasons on the NBC comedy as she proclaims, “We’re going to fill that pit.”
