The hot Gen Z trend this spring was BeReal, the social media app that prompts users to share a daily photo of what they’re doing the moment an alert goes off at an unexpected time — and once again, Hollywood was left standing outside the digital velvet rope.

Danielle DePalma, most recently Evp, Worldwide Digital Marketing & Research at Lionsgate, has joined Apple as a senior executive on the company’s video marketing team.
As Manager in the department, DePalma will shepherd film and TV series marketing, reporting to Sony TV alum Chris Van Amburg, Apple’s Head of Video Marketing.

Payday 2 has added John Wick downloadable content, Lionsgate and 505 Games have announced.
Dlc featuring a playable version of the upcoming film's protagonist is now available on Steam as a free download for the first-person shooter on PC.
Produced by Overkill Software, the branded add-on pack also contains a new perk system called Hitman, which includes features such as Akimbo and the ability to wield dual weapons.
In addition, it comes with three sunglasses for characters and introduces a new pistol with accompanying weapon modifications and a new knife melee weapon.
"We're big fans of Payday 2 and the team at Starbreeze, and we're thrilled to kick off our partnership with such a cool movie," said Lionsgate executive Danielle DePalma.
"The hyper-real action sequences in the film almost make you feel like you're watching an insane video game, so we cannot wait to see John Wick in theaters as well as experience him in the game.
