Lisa Dawn Rogolsky was born and raised in New Jersey, where she
attended Ramapo College of New Jersey to study screen writing. When she
realized she could not make a stable living as a writer, she moved to
Florida in 2008 to work as a cast member at Walt Disney World and
decided to write only as a hobby. Since then, she has self-published
five fantasy-themed middle grade novellas under the pseudonym "Lisa
Dawn," which are all available on Amazon. In 2009, Lisa realized that
working at theme park would not allow her to pursue her dream of being
part of the film industry, she she attended the DAVE (Digital Animation
and Visual Effects) School in Orlando, which landed her a job as a
stereoscopic rotoscope artist in late 2010, causing her to move across
the country to Los Angeles, California. While living in California, she
has also dabbled in some work as a background actor and continues to
pursue various methods of creative storytelling.
Lisa received her Bacehlor's Degree in Screenwriting at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jeresy in 2008 and her Occupational Associates degree in Visual Effects at the DAVE (Digital Animation and Visual Effects) School in Orlando, Florida in 2010.
