Chaz Bono is a changed man. The Lgbt activist showed off a much different side at Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars's 300th anniversary celebration, compared to when he competed on the show in 2011. "I'm feeling really good," the once-timid son of Cher told People at the Boulevard 3-held event in Hollywood. "I'd love to do Dancing all over again. I'd do it much better now than I did it then." Bono, 44, owes much of his new positive outlook to his 65-lb. weight loss journey, which began in November. "Physically, my body feels just so much better," he said.

Cher's son Chaz Bono has opened up about his broken engagement, insisting his sex change wasn't to blame for the split.
The transgender reality TV star proposed to Jennifer Elia in 2009, but he put his wedding plans on hold to undergo surgery to complete the gender reassignment process.
Bono called off his engagement last year but he is adamant the operation played no part in ending his six-year romance with Elia.
He tells CNN newsman Piers Morgan, "Ultimately, the reasons why we split up had really nothing to do with that (sex change). It was (down to) issues that we were dealing with and just stark differences in the people that we are and what we wanted out of life.
"I have changed a lot and it's really the internal changes that are the bigger changes. I went from being really uncomfortable and kind of damaged for my whole life to suddenly not being that way anymore. As I started to feel so much better and my confidence rose, I (realised) I wanted to live the best life that I could and I wanted my partner to be able to kind of do that with me.
"There were deep-seated issues around substance abuse and stuff like that that had been really a problem almost since we first got together... We just wanted different things out of life."
According to USA Today, Bono's former fiancee Elia is a recovering alcoholic.

Wendy Williams is a huge fan of reality TV, and she loved watching Chaz Bono on "Dancing With the Stars." Wednesday on "The Wendy Williams Show," (weekdays on Fox) she responded enthusiastically to a rumor that Chaz might be considering starring in "Bachelor"-esque reality dating show after breaking up with his fiance Jennifer Elia. Williams made it crystal clear that if the show actually materializes, she'll be watching religiously.
Williams pointed out that Chaz's adventures in dating as a transgender man would make for compelling reality TV. "It's a lot to explain and it's interesting to watch on TV. I'm fascinated. That's why we need to be seeing this on TV, the whole evolution, when he meets somebody and they get married ... just keep the story going," she campaigned.
But not only does Williams support the premise of the show, she also has some strong opinions on what channel it should be on.

There's no denying that Chaz Bono has had an incredible year. Not only did the Lgbt activist and author star on Season 13 of ABC's hit "Dancing With the Stars" -- and spark subsequent backlash for being the first transgender person to do so -- but he was also awarded the Hero Award at the 2011 Glsen Respect Awards and named one of Out magazine's 100 Lgbt people of the year. Chaz Bono and long-time fiancee Jennifer Elia have take the next step toward becoming man and wife. Cher's son gave Elia an engagement ring during the most recent episode of the TV show "Being Chaz."
While atop the Space Needle in Seattle, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum says he wanted to pick a "special place to give her her birthday present." The 42-year-old Bono began dating Elia in 2005.
Elia was obviously emotional with the situation. "Wow. It's gorgeous. Thank you so much. It's stunning. It's huge!" Elia says while gazing at the diamond ring.
While the couple actually got engaged two years ago, they were holding off on the wedding until Bono's transgender process was complete.
The show aired on Own on Sunday (Nov. 27).

Welcome back, folks! Did you miss us? Even a little? Things get quiet over the holidays, but we've still got things to share. But first, I was hoping as we shift gears into Christmas we might revive the forum topic where members share their Christmas trees. My first tree in the new house is up, though I prefer my outdoor decorations to my indoor ones this year.
I hate to admit that my beloved Muppets were beaten by a sparkly vampire, but Breaking Dawn raked in another $62 million, while my felt friends delivered a solid $42 million. Happy Feet 2 took third, with Arthur Christmas falling into fourth with $17 million and Hugo scraping together $15 million.
Remember that sad little ginger seal that was rejected by its colony a couple of months back? Well, karma isn't always a beyotch, because she's now the star of her Russian zoo.
Is anyone besides me surprised...

It is amazing how much hatred some people can have in their hearts. Certainly, the Internet has made it easier for these people to spew some of the most horrific and terrifying bile toward others, and Bono received plenty, including threats of physical violence and death.
"I don't think its worth it to do this show if he's gonna get shot," Elia said. "I don't want him to die for a cause."

Becoming Chaz, a documentary about Chaz Bono’s transition from female to male, recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and on TV’s Oprah Winfrey Network. The film takes viewers inside Chaz’s life with his fiancé, Jennifer Elia, as they navigate working his transition into the life they’ve already created together.
Jennifer took a moment to chat with us about the process of making the documentary, exchanging Facebook messages with partners of other trans people, and her and Chaz’s hairless cats.
AfterEllen: How did you and Chaz come to the decision to do the documentary?
Jennifer Elia: He wanted to get his story out, and he also wanted to do it in a way where he had control over how it was presented. He was going to do it as a news interview or a news program and that didn’t come to pass. He sort of stumbled into it.

Numbers were also strong for the follow-up show, as “The Doc Club with Rosie O’Donnell” hosted a Q & A with Bono and girlfriend Jennifer Elia. Cher herself calls the child who was born Chastity her daughter, still, and seems remarkably uncomfortable throughout Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's doc about what her kid is going through.
