IFC Films/Sundance Selects announced on Wednesday three key promotions.
Shani Ankori (pictured, top left) has been promoted to senior vice-president of marketing and will continue to report to IFC Films/Sundance Selects president Jonathan Sehring.
Ankori first joined IFC Films/Sundance Selects in 2007 as director of marketing and was promoted to vice-president of marketing in 2012.
Prior to that she was head of marketing at Samuel Goldwyn Films/Roadside Attractions from 2003 to 2006 and before that held marketing positions at Atlantic Records.
Steven Cardwell has been promoted to director of marketing and reports to Ankori.
Cardwell joined IFC Films/Sundance Selects in early 2014 as manager of digital marketing. From 2011 to 2014 he was the worldwide marketing director for The Book Of Mormon and prior to that marketing director at Scott Rudin Productions.

Sundance Selects/IFC Films President Jonathan Sehring announced today that Steven Cardwell has been hired fro the newly created position of Head of Digital Marketing. Cardwell will oversee digital and social marketing initiatives for films under the Sundance Selects, IFC FIlms and IFC Midnight distribution labels. "Steven’s creativity, knowledge, experience and expertise in the digital realm and within the entertainment industry make him the perfect fit for this position," remarked Sehring. Alex Garcia is promoted to Legendary evp of production, Jillian Share to svp of production and Alex Hedlund to vp of production.
The three executives have been instrumental in such projects as the upcoming Godzilla, as well as 42, Pacific Rim and 300: Rise Of An Empire.
They will continue to report to Jon Jashni, Legendary’s president and COO.

London, Jan 11: A former Us marine who had previously worked as a bodyguard for Madonna has been jailed for 10 years for smuggling guns into the UK on commercial flights.
Steven Greenoe, from North Carolina, bought guns from American gun shops, broke them down to their component parts and then smuggled them into the UK in his luggage.
Greenoe was sentenced to 10 years at a federal court in Greenville, North Carolina, followed by three years supervision on his release.
In November, Steven Cardwell, 31, from Liverpool, was given an indeterminate jail sentence following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court after he obtained.
