- Michael Aguiar (born Michelangelo Aguiar) was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and immigrated to the United States in 1992 where he quickly began writing movie reviews and short stories to newspapers in Florida.
In January 2005, Michael began work on his Arthurian novel "Chronicles of Percyval", and published it successfully in 2007. His follow up was children's book he wrote with his daughter "Arisia's little monster" where Michael also provided the illustrations. After the success of Arisia's little monster, Michael went back to his passion of film, by writing and directing a short called "The Laughing Mask" detailing how a masked vigilante took revenge of Casey Anthony after she was acquitted. The short went Viral, and soon Michael was working on a full feature version of "The Laughing Mask". The film was a success and picked up by Leomark Studios on an international distribution deal.
After The Laughing Mask, Michael Directed short horror "After Hours" and followed that with "Blood and Soil" A drama about WWII veterans struggling to find a place in today's world, where the same Nazi symbolism they fought to eradicate is still prevalent and used in society.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Jake
