The battle between Glen Campbell's widow and three of his children from an earlier marriage over his $50 million estate rages on. Kim Campbell says the kids were cut out of his will in 2002, when eldest son Travis "hadn't visited his dad in 20 years." As Glen fought Alzheimer's, Kim says, the kids "never called to ask how he was or if they could help." (They deny this.) The beloved country music icon sadly passed away back in August 2017, after battling the disease for over six years. Throughout his life, he was married four different times and had eight children. In 1959, he tied the knot with Billie Jean Nunley, and they welcomed a daughter and two sons — Kelli, Travis, and Kane. While his youngest daughter, Ashley Campbell (from his last marriage with Kim) and some of his older children were often by his side — especially towards the end of his life — Kelli,...

“There was a time when all I could remember was the sickness,” Kim Campbell tells People of the Alzheimer’s disease that took her husband Glen Campbell‘s life on Aug. 8. “But now that he’s passed, the good memories are starting to flood back in.

Chicago – Glen Campbell, the singer, actor and personality, is ingrained into a certain late 1960s/early ‘70s ethos. His sunny disposition and clean pop music rhetoric crossed over from country to the mainstream, and in that other era he could seriously call his television show “The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour.” Today, he fights a losing battle against Alzheimer’s Disease in the emotional documentary, “Glen Campbell, I’ll Be Me.”
