Stephen Brady ''fully expected'' to get fired from 'The Apprentice'. The candidate was joined by Gabrielle Omar in a shock double firing from the BBC One show last night (23.05.12), and although he was the second of the two to get asked to leave the boardroom by Lord Sugar, he knew it was coming. He said: ''I expected it after last week. Let's be honest I could have easily left last week. But I thought, you know, throw down the gauntlet and see what happens. So Lord Sugar would have to stay true to his word so, 'On your bike!' ''I can...

Apprentice star Duane Bryan has become the fifth candidate to be fired from this year's series. The drinks company founder was axed by Lord Alan Sugar after Team Sterling lost this week's fitness challenge, in which professional wrestler Ricky Martin served as project manager. The group's 'Beat Battle' workout, a combination of mixed martial arts and street dance, achieved total sales of £7,970 from three health club chains. Stephen Brady's Phoenix, however, collected £12,810 from a single deal for their retro 'Groove Train' routine. Watch Digital Spy's interview with Duane Bryan below:
In the boardroom, it emerged that Sterling lost because the promising concept of 'Beat Battle' wasn't executed properly. Karren Brady added that their promotional video appeared (more)...

Apprentice candidate Stephen Brady makes a major error in this week's show, blundering his way through a buying and selling task for Lord Alan Sugar. Brady believes that he's found some bargains in a South London junk shop, but after spending £30 of his team's cash, the shopkeeper reveals that the 33-year-old has made a major error of judgement. Watch a clip from this week's Apprentice
After Brady, Adam Corbally and Katie Wright have left the shop, the shopkeeper tells the cameras: "They didn't do very well. There's a lot of stuff here that would have made them a lot of profit. And they've (more)...

Some of the greatest moments in any Apprentice are the early morning wake-up calls. Lord Alan Sugar appears to take sadistic glee in getting his secretary to call up his candidates at silly o'clock in the morning and warning them that they have to be halfway across the other side of London sharpish or else. Watching newbies such as Stephen Brady and Tom Gearing stumbling around in their pants, bleary-eyed and confused as they attempted to make it to the V&A museum in 15 minutes, provided a slapstick opening worthy of the farcical business attempts ahead. Shugs' latest task for the fab 15 was simple. Invent a household product (for the bathroom or kitchen) and make loadsa money off it. What could possibly go wrong? The girls were led this week by Jane McEvoy, a self-proclaimed "bossy boots" with a lovely Irish lilt. Unfortunately (more)...

One half want to flog rubber gloves with scourers on. The other half want to create a fancy eco-bin. However, when Azhar Siddique, Stephen Brady and Duane Bryan disregard the gloves idea, despite market (more)...
