Born in Stony Brook, NY on October 2nd 1986. Alex Lived the majority of the first 18 years of his life in Chapel Hill, NC before relocating to Savannah, GA in 2006 to study animation.
After graduating; they spent a short couple of years in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Atlanta, GA to work on adult swims 'Squidbillies', IFC's 'Out There' & Hulu's 'The Awesomes'
In 2013 they attempted to 'go independent' by relocating away from their industry connections in Atlanta to Boulder, Colorado where they mindfully spent time 'elevating their vibrations', 'producing 2 experimental instrumental electronic rock albums' & 'going broke'
After bouncing back to Georgia, Barrella spent several years juggling personal/professional projects/productions & activism before entering the dirty ring of politics in 2017 via running for Mayor of Atlanta.
After losing their first electoral contest, continued on with their main objectives via continuing to work in animation, local activism & politics. Announced officially in April 2019 that they intended to enter/win the 2021 Mayoral race.
Spent the the year 2020 working as a janitor at the Airport cleaning out jets(before whistle-blowing dangerous practices / being fired) and campaigning(producing a robust thoughtful platform with lots of dazzling propaganda art).
