At age 6, when she stepped on stage as Diana Ross to perform "Stop in
the Name of Love", Rikki Dee knew that acting was her first and only
true love but her inquisitive nature & free spirit took her on a number
of journeys from Taekwondo to ballet to piano lessons. But nothing else
ever quite measured up. She attended Parkview Magnet for Performing
Arts and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her roles. But it was
during her tenure at the University of Ark- Pine Bluff that she began
her professional theatrical career in The Hip Hop Project: Insight into
the Hip Hop Generation. The touring ensemble sold out shows across the
country- including The Arkansas Repertory Theatre & the Kennedy Center.
Rikki Dee received astounding reviews for her original piece "Love's
Sunglasses" & "(You're my) Alcohol". In 2011, Rikki Dee wrapped her 1st
film entitled Les Infideles (2012). She had originally been cast as a
featured extra but after meeting the directors & leads, Oscar
front-runner Jean DuJardin & Gilles Lellouche, she was offered the
principal role.
