- SpouseHumphrey Mackworth(July 9, 1908 - ?) (divorced)
- She and her father were sent by David Lloyd George to the United States to arrange the supply of munitions for the British armed forces during World War I. On their way home, their ship, the RMS Lusitania, was torpedoed by a German submarine. They were among the 764 people who survived the attack.
- After her divorce, she and fellow suffragette Helen Archdale "set up house", as Rhondda's biographer put it. Archdale, who left her husband before she met Rhondda, was the daughter of Alexander Russel, editor of the newspaper The Scotsman.
- Upon her father's death, she inherited his title - Viscount Rhondda, of Llanwern, County Monmouth - and his properties, being his only child. She tried to take his seat in the House of Lords, citing the Sex Disqualification Removal Act of 1919, which allowed women to exercise "any public office", but was denied. Among her supporters were Lord Astor, whose wife, Nancy Astor, was the first woman to take a seat in the House of Commons. The Peerage Act of 1963 allowed hereditary peeresses to enter the Lords.
