TVNewser reports that CNN has cancelled The Next List and the show’s executive producer, Jim McGinnis, is leaving after 25 years with the cable channel.
Hosted by Doctor Sanjay Gupta, The Next List aired on Saturday afternoons and profiled innovators and visionaries from the worlds of science and technology. Each half-hour episode features one person and tells their story of what they're doing to change the world.
The show debuted on November 13th of 2011 and featured cyber-illusionist Marco Tempest.

CNN has canceled The Next List — the Saturday afternoon program in which, the network said, it “profiles innovators, visionaries and agents of change.” The half-hour series, hosted by Sanjay Gupta, premiered in November 2011. The show’s Ep, Jim McGinnis, who also served as Ep of special projects, Ep of American Morning and Ep of Lou Dobbs Tonight in his 25 years with CNN, is departing the network, reported TVNewser.
