- Regis Le'Bron is the Chief Creative Officer for Ubuntu Films & Television Development Company, based in Atlanta, GA. His responsibilities include film and television development, screenwriting, and producing. He also develops marketing and distribution strategies for independent content.
As a Writer/Producer, Regis Le'Bron has scripted 30 plus well-structured, compelling and intelligent screenplays. He also has written numerous TV show treatments, episodes, and teleplays. He collaborates with other screenwriters to co-write great stories designed to impact movie-going audiences worldwide. He has written in virtually every genre, including animation, with the exception of Sci-fi.
Mr. Le'Bron started his career in the film industry in 1996, marketing and distributing independent films through a theatrical platform he created called The Black Independent Film Series.
In 2004, through divine inspiration, he wrote his first screenplay, On The Cumberland, the story of how Black golf pioneers protested and changed the "Caucasian Rule" in the spot of golf...and he has been writing ever since.
In 2014, Regis wrote and produced "First Impression," a hilarious romantic comedy that was distributed on BETHer, Netflix, Amazon Prime and other various platforms.
Regis produced Women That Soar, a syndicated international awards show that highlights the amazing accomplishments of women globally. Women That Soar aired on CBS in 2016 and 2018.
In 2017, he wrote and produced a documentary for Inroads called Impact of A Village: The Cooper Sisters about their educational internship program.
