Good Omens season two is a story of friendship and love and, to quote Terry Pratchett’s Moving Pictures, “Passione in a Worlde Gone Madde!” Gorgeous-looking, perfectly cast, and full of joy, it’s like a warm hug and a mug of hot chocolate… with a little macabre horror and sketch show comedy bobbing beneath the surface.
Good Omens season one was based on a standalone novel written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, which meant that it was a complete story. That’s why most of its characters and plotlines – Adam and pals, Agnes Nutter, Anathema and the Four Motorcycle Riders of the Apocalypse – don’t appear in season two.
But more than any of those, Good Omens season one was the story of the friendship between the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale. They’re the true protagonists of the book, and indisputably the stars of the TV show,...

This Star Wars: Andor article contains spoilers.
Andor takes Star Wars in a completely new direction than we’ve ever seen before. Cassian’s origin story opens not with talk of Jedi and Sith, or a civil war between the Empire and the Rebellion, but with a common crook who’s down on his luck and desperate. The opening minutes that play like a neo-noir crime thriller straight out of Blade Runner soon give way to a very grounded story about the folks you don’t normally see in a Star Wars movie, including the blue collar workers who keep the wheels turning on the Empire’s corporate interests. It’s on planets like Ferrix, Morlana One, and Kenari that we meet a whole new cast of characters, the people who shape Cassian’s past and help him become who he needs to be in Rogue One.

Another new “Star Wars” series has arrived on Disney+, but this one is different. “Andor” is set years before the events of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and follows the exploits of Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor, but in contrast to the previous live-action shows like “The Mandalorian” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” this is a decidedly grounded and gritty take on the “Star Wars” universe – and one completely devoid of Jedi and Sith and bounty hunters. In short, it’s a “Star Wars” story set in a new pocket of the universe, about real people struggling with the very real oppression of the Empire.
Luna anchors the ensemble but there’s an impressive cast of characters that show up in the first few episodes, and no doubt many more to come throughout the 12-episode first season. Check out our complete “Andor” cast and character guide below.

Amazon recently announced that Good Omens season 2 would be returning for a six-episode run, and those who read the single novel written by Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett uttered a collective, “Huh?” The show was logically conceived as a limited series given that what is now season 1 already adapted the entire existing story. However, it turns out that Gaiman, as executive producer, left himself some openings to continue the tale, the seeds of which do exist.
It turns out that Gaiman and the late Pratchett had discussed a possible sequel to their popular collaborative novel, and some elements from that effort, which would have been titled 668: The Neighbor of the Beast, have already been introduced. “The fact that we have Jon Hamm as the impossibly irritating angel Gabriel is something from the sequel we slid back in, [including] the relationship between heaven and hell, where we keep going back...

So with the ultimate crisis averted in Good Omens, what does the ending mean for all of the characters involved?
This article contains spoilers for the ending of Good Omens.
Although most of us went into our viewing of Good Omens knowing that Crowley the demon and Aziraphale the angel would be seeking to avoid Armageddon, it has now become clear that the end times were halted despite their actions rather than because of their intervention. Sure, Crowley may have made the fateful error that put Adam Young on his unconventional path, but that wasn’t his own devious plan; it just happened… perhaps according to an ineffable plan. So what can we conclude about the final events of the six-part miniseries?
It was, of course, the Antichrist himself who held all the cards, able to shape the world to his own beliefs, and the Four Horsemen...
