- In 2013, Mia Farrow made a widely-publicized claim that is was possible Frank Sinatra, rather than Woody Allen, was Ronan's biological father. Sinatra's daughters Tina and Nancy called Farrow's claim "nonsense", and also said their father had a vasectomy years before Ronan's birth. Farrow has since walked back on the claim, and when interviewed seven years later for Allen v. Farrow (2021) she did not mention the possibility of anyone other than Allen being Ronan's father.

- Is apparently the second person, whose celebrity mother claimed of possibly being a biological child of Frank Sinatra. The first was Deana Jürgens (b. 1957) when in 1988, her mother Eva Bartok revealed her theory (which unlike Ronan, Deana was born before Frank had the vasectomy).
