The band’s first post on the platform is 30-second video compiling archival concert footage, candid scenes from Shakedown Street, handmade artwork, and more throughout the decades, from their beginnings in the late 1960s to their final shows in 1995 just days before founding member Jerry Garcia’s death.
Soundtracked by a remastered 1969 live recording of their song “St. Stephen” at San Francisco’s Fillmore West, the clip begins with...

However, in the 1980s, the two had a brief feud as Jagger and Richards appeared to be moving in opposite directions. While the band never split, Richards may have expressed his frustrations with Mick Jagger in his music, especially with “All About You”.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards became friends in 1961 and formed The Rolling Stones one year later. While the height of their fame never reached the same level as their competitor, The Beatles, the Stones were still wildly successful and are a legendary band in rock history. Unlike The Beatles, the band has remained active for six decades, with a few changes to the roster.

You’d be hard-pressed to find many musicians who wouldn’t trade places with Paul McCartney. Decades of fame and dozens of hit songs pushed his net worth over $1 billion. Still, Paul was jealous of The Rolling Stones — specifically their differing wardrobes — even though The Beatles were the most popular band in England.

The Beatles striding across a zebra-striped pedestrian crossing for the Abbey Road cover is one of the most recognizable music photos ever. Paul, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison wore different outfits that foreshadowed the individual paths they took when the band broke up after that 1969 album.
But it wasn’t always that way.
