Born in West Virginia in 1981 William had wanted to be an astronaut from a very early age, but a skull fracture right before he entered the Navy derailed that. He started learning filmmaking in 2004. Even though he wanted to go to the stars he was always interested in film and animation. Some of his biggest influences were Disney animations, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Cool World. He started attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for animation at 32, but switched gears a couple years in and started attending Full Sail University for Digital Cinematography at 34. He now has a Bachelors of Science in cinematography.
Was scheduled to enter the Navy after high school but fractured his skull.
Studied Media Art and Animation at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for two years before switching to Full Sail University's Digital Cinematography program.
Is a Buddhist.
Graduated Full Sail University 2/2/2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Digital Cinematography.
