[Editor’s Note: The following interview contains spoilers for “Fargo” Season 5, Episode 10, including the ending.]
Amid the dead bodies (R.I.P. State Trooper Witt Farr) and scorched faces (remember Donald Ireland?), it can be hard to keep track of all the grievances, allegiances, and debts incurred in “Fargo.” But Mr. Munch (Sam Spruell) doesn’t forget. Like an elephant with the shortest nose and worst haircut you’ve ever seen, the assassin once hired to kidnap Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple) returns to her home well over a year after he first broke in. Then, he lost a lot of blood (not to mention his partner) in the ensuing skirmish, and now, he would like to see his debt of “flesh” repaid.
“Why,” Dot asks him. “Why must debt be paid? I understand keeping a promise, but people always say, ‘Debt must be paid.’ Except… what if you can’t? If you’re too poor or you lose your job,...

Lorraine Lyon, the CEO of a private debt collection company and matriarch of the Lyon family, is sitting for an interview. Dressed modestly in a black skirt and jacket adorned with gold buttons, yet surrounded by her sleek marble-floored office space, Lorraine (Jennifer Jason Leigh) listens patiently as the reporter asks how her business soared to record profits by buying consumer debt other collectors wrote off as “uncollectible.” “Here’s what you need to understand about Americans,” she says, unperturbed by the question’s doubtful implications. “They don’t want a handout. What they’re looking for is an opportunity to fix it themselves. We give them that.”
Like any good spin artist, Lorraine laces her plainly contemptible conduct with grains of truth. While no sane person would object to the sudden dissolution of their obscene medical bills or interest-inflated credit card debt, they may, in fact, like to fix...

Ride was one of two new scripted series to premiere on Hallmark in 2023. (The other is the time-travel drama The Way Home.) It debuted in March 2023; the season finale aired in May.
In contrast to The Way Home, which Hallmark renewed mid-way through its first season, Ride languished in limbo after its dramatic season 1 finale. Now, Vulture reports that the network has quietly decided not to move forward with Ride Season 2.
As recently as two weeks ago, some of the Ride cast appeared to be holding out hope for a renewal. When a fan commented on Instagram in early November that she was looking forward to season 2, Jake Foy,...

“Fargo” is bloody back.
The fifth installment of the award-winning anthology limited series introduces a new cast of characters for the latest crime mystery, created by Noah Hawley. “Fargo” Season 5 centers on Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple), a Midwestern housewife with a mysterious past who is now on the run from law enforcement.
Enter local North Dakota sheriff Roy Tillman (Jon Hamm) who also moonlights as a rancher, preacher, and constitutional lawman. Along with his son Gator (Joe Keery) and drifter Ole Munch (Sam Spruell), Roy seeks out Dot, who has kept her husband Wayne (David Rysdahl) and mother-in-law Lorraine (Jennifer Jason Leigh) in the dark. Of course, it doesn’t help that Lorraine is the CEO of the largest Debt Collection Agency in the country and has always been suspicious of Dot’s intentions.
Add in Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead (Richa Moorjani) and North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr...

There’s a new cowboy in town on Hallmark Channel’s Ride. The April 16 episode of the rodeo family drama introduced Cody, a farrier played by James Tupper. He was on hand to help Isabel (Nancy Travis) deal with a tricky situation involving one of her mares. But is it possible that he had more on his mind than just assisting with a horse?

The McMurray family has taken over Hallmark Channel. The network’s new series Ride follows the members of a ranching and rodeo dynasty and they fight to keep control of their land and move forward after a devastating loss. The show is set in rural Colorado, but it’s actually filmed in Canada.
‘Ride’ is filmed in Alberta, Canada

In Ride, the McMurray’s Colorado ranch is located in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. But the show isn’t actually filmed in the Centennial State. Like many Hallmark Channel shows and movies, production takes place in Canada.
Ride episodes are filmed in and around Calgary, Alberta. The stunning landscapes around the provincial capital made filming there “so fun,” co-showrunner Rebecca Boss told the Calgary Herald.
“The elements are part of the story,” she said.
