Formed in 2009, MoonRunners are a female fronted indie-rock band from
the North East of England (United Kingdom). Officially voted as the
"UK's Student Band of the Year" in 2012, the band have supported a
number of well known artists such as McFly, "Malcolm McLaren's" Bow Wow
Wow, Shaun "Happy Mondays" Ryder, and X-Factor "bad boy" Frankie
Cocozza. With substantial indie-radio airplay, locally, nationally, and
via the BBC's popular "introducing" section, the band are becoming an
established and well respected musical act.
