Survivor's J'Tia Taylor is wild about her new husband, Graeme Ross David Hart! The Survivor: Cagayan castaway, who competed on the 2014 Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty installment of the long-running reality competiton, married Hart in an animal-themed ceremony at Florida's Brevard Zoo on Friday, March 19. The couple's family and friends, 125 in all, gathered to watch them swap vows on the Nyami Nyami River Lodge's veranda during the evening ceremony. To fit with the animal theme, Taylor, 33, walked down the aisle in a silk [...]...

It was an animal-themed wedding for former Survivor contestant J'Tia Taylor.
Taylor, 32, a nuclear engineer who competed on Survivor: Cagayan, married fiancé Graeme Ross Hart on Friday. The ceremony took place on the veranda of the Nyami Nyami River Lodge at the Brevard Zoo in Rockledge, Florida.
More than 125 guests attended the ceremony, including Survivor contestants Kass McQuillen, Tasha Fox, Brice Johnston and Spencer Bledsoe.
Taylor wore a silk sheath gown with a low-cut back designed by Winnie Couture. Her shoes were calf-hair heels in a zebra pattern. The venue had gold decorations with zebra-print accents. While waiting for the ceremony to begin,...

Pre-credit sequence. I really want an explanation for Josh and Baylor's Tribal Council votes. Will we get one as we return to Coyopa? Yup! Kinda! "There's a method to my madness. I put your name down," Josh tells Baylor, claiming his goal was "to further advance their alliance." He begs her not to be mad. "That was a smart move in a way, but it was also sketchy and scary that he didn't tell me before," Baylor says. Yeah. I still don't get what anybody was thinking. Out like Flint. Hunahpu. That's the name of the other tribe? If you say so. Reed is showing off his bendiness. Jon is lifting logs and boasting about his partial arts prowess. Drew is doing push-ups. Natalie is not impressed by the shows of masculinity. But amidst the challenge prep, everybody has a new confusion: Where's their flint? "Losing that is not good,...

If you read my interview with "Survivor: Cagayan" 4th Place finisher Spencer Bledsoe, you saw one approach to the "Survivor" experience. Spencer was circumspect, critical of his strategy and admitted that he would have voted for Tony, the season's winner, over himself. Today's exit interview, with 3rd Place finisher Kassandra "Kass" McQuillen, takes a different approach. Kass thinks she played the same game as Tony only with a different gender, she thinks Spencer and the other losing castaways were arrogant and she thinks that the "Survivor" finale live vote suggesting Woo would have easily beaten her was "revisionist." Kass thinks there's a double-standard when it comes to female "Survivor" players, particularly for moms, and she's confident that a male version of Kass would have won the season. And I'm not saying that she's wrong. In fact, on much of it, she's probably right. In our sometimes contentious exit interview, Kass...

I said as much in my recap of Wednesday's (May 7) "Survivor: Cagayan," but Tasha Fox has no doubt that if she hadn't been voted out and if she'd been allowed to make it into Final 3 situation, she was going to win, whether she went up against Idol-finding mastermind Tony or fellow Brain Spencer. "Hand's down, I would win the million dollars regardless of who I sat next to," Tasha told me in this week's exit interview. Of course, getting to the Final 3 required getting out of last week's Tribal Council and that required counting on Kass and Woo to flip against Tony. That didn't happen. But just because Tony seems to be in a power position from what we've seen on TV, Tasha hints that her own Jury sentiments may not be so clear. She gives a perspective that may be illustrative of what we can expect over the...

In the 28 seasons of Survivor, there have been few contestants who have made as many missteps as J'Tia Taylor. She was bossy to her other castaways as they built a shelter. She panicked under pressure, causing her tribe to lose challenge after challenge. And, most egregiously, she dumped out the tribe's rice supply in a fit of anger. Taking an early and bossy lead on a failed Day One project is usually a decent recipe for being voted off early on "Survivor." Being viewed as the weakest player on a weak tribe is usually a decent recipe for being voted off early on "Survivor." Seemingly being on the low side of a numbers alliance is also usually a decent recipe for being voted off early on "Survivor." Going just a bit cuckoo-bananas and dumping most of your tribe's rice into the fire? Surely that's a fantastic recipe for getting voted off early on "Survivor." In retrospect, it probably isn't surprising that my exit interview with J'Tia Taylor came early in this "Survivor: Cagayan" season. The shocking thing is that J'Tia managed not to be the first or second person voted out of her Brains Tribe. In fact, the Chicago-based nuclear engineer survived one surprising vote, one genuinely shocking vote and,...

In a game that's all about forming alliances, J'Tia Taylor essentially blew up her own chances of winning in Week 2 of Survivor: Cagayan, when she dumped out all but a few grains of her tribe's rice in a moment of frustration. Despite the fact that she managed to (shockingly) not get voted out immediately afterwards, J'Tia's torch was finally snuffed in this week's episode.
"I have no regrets," J'Tia tells TVGuide.com of the rice-throwing incident. "It was kind of like my 'go big or go home' moment."
At this point, she's done both. Read our full exit interview with J'Tia to get her full explanation regarding the rice, and thoughts on how Jeff Probst may have influenced her tribe's decision to toss her on Wednesday's episode.

The Brains tribe is really struggling on "Survivor: Cagayan," with J'Tia Taylor as the latest casualty of their inability to win challenges. But she tells Zap2it that she understands why Kass and Tasha voted her out and kept Spencer.

Pre-credit sequence. How will the Beauty Tribe cope without Brice, their self-professed most beautifulest member? "I'm just pretty mad and frustrated," says Morgan, calling Jeremiah a giant coward. No intellectual slouch, Morgan suspects that since a four-person alliance voted Brice out and since she wasn't part of that alliance, she may be next to go. Accosted by Morgan about his vote, Jeremiah stutters and mutters and says that Brice scared him, socially. "We'll see if I made a bonehead play or not," Jeremiah tells us. Going on the offensive, Morgan tells Alexis a complicated story about how Jeremiah wanted Lj out, but decided to target Alexis because they still needed Lj for challenges. Alexis is skeptical, but also curious and suggests Jeremiah has a big target on his back now. I hope we don't spend too much time with the Beauty Tribe tonight. They're not personality-filled. The good news for "Survivor: Cagayan's" J'Tia Taylor? She's a nuclear engineer. The bad news? You just voted her as this season's most-hated castaway. The Beautiful People had to devour one of their own on Wednesday (March 5) night's "Survivor: Cagayan." The Beauty Tribe held a big lead in Wednesday's Immunity Challenge, but squandered it and were forced to go to Tribal Council for the first time. As votes were tallied -- twice, since there was a three-way tie the first time -- the power was all in the hands of Jeremiah. In a six-person tribe, he had the choice between sticking with an alliance of four and booting Brice, or aligning with Brice and Morgan to eliminate Alexis. In the end, Jeremiah chose numbers and social worker Brice Johnston was eliminated, taking his purple pants with him. On the 28th season of CBS' Survivor, contestants have been divided into three tribes based on athleticism (Aparri), intelligence (Luzon), and attractiveness (Solana). Will this be a ratings winner for the network? We shall see.
Jeff Probst has returned as host. The players are David Samson, Garrett Adelstein, Jefra Bland, Spencer Bledsoe, Latasha "Tasha" Fox, Trish Hegarty, Yung "Woo" Hwang, Brice Johnston, Sarah Lacina, Alexis Maxwell, Lj McKanas, Morgan McLeod, Kassandra "Kass" McQuillen, Lindsey Ogle, Cliff Robinson, J'Tia Taylor, Tony Vlachos, and Jeremiah Wood.
The higher a show's ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better its chances for survival. This show has already been renewed for next season already. New ratings data will be added as it becomes available -- typically around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.

"I'm gonna have to resort to all kinds of crazy, creative ideas," Spencer says. "There was a lot of luck, a lot of Kass," admits J'Tia, who knows her tribe is a disaster. "I have no loyalties to Spencer," Tasha warns us, as she solidifies an All-Girl Alliance. "Garrett, he's fun to look at, but you don't want to play with him," Kass explains her swing vote. "Blue Bloods" airs Fridays at 10, also on CBS. Over at Brawn, Tony is isolating himself, but it's an isolation with an Idol. Perhaps sensing that even with the Idol, that's only a duo, Tony opens up to Sarah about his 13 years as a cop. "I can just tell," Sarah agrees, pleased that her Copdar was validated.

On paper, Garrett Adelstein should have won Survivor: Cagayan. A professional poker player with a high Iq, he was young and buff. But after overplaying - and neglecting to play an immunity idol - Adelstein, 27, was the second person voted off of the show. Adelstein has a lot of regrets, which he shares with People. You say you trained 2,000 hours to compete in Survivor. What did you do?(Laughs) I did everything. I spent three hours a day running, swimming, lifting weights or doing yoga. All that is physical training, but Survivor is very mental.I read all these Survivor columns online.

In every season of Survivor, someone has to be the first to go. Sometimes it's because they're weak; other times because they're abrasive. David Samson, the 45-year-old president of the Miami Marlins, was chosen as the leader of his tribe, and unceremoniously booted from Survivor: Cagayan after three days.
Samson talks to People about leadership, hunger and the contestant he calls "disgraceful."
David, what happened?
We had six brainiac leaders and no followers. We got nothing accomplished. So when they had to vote someone off, they chose the person they had selected as the leader. It was disappointing.

As I mentioned in my recap of the "Survivor: Cagayan" premiere, poker player Garrett Adelstein managed to get himself blindsided through a number of impressive, self-generated circumstances. He pushed easy target J'Tia on a path to nutso rage at camp with his open forum strategy back at camp. He nudged Tasha to more aggressive play by trying to cut of strategizing at camp. He alienated Kass at Tribal Council by outing their semi-alliance. And, of course, he found an Immunity Idol, but left it buried at camp. To me, I also felt like he fixated too heavily on getting David out at the first Tribal Council, a decision that left J'Tia in the game in the first place. Although Garrett came across as failing to live up to his tribe's braininess in the premiere, in his exit interview, he seemed much more articulate and introspective about his performance. One thing...

I wanted David Samson to stick around on "Survivor: Cagayan" until May. I had Miami Marlins-based humor to scatter through my recaps for months. Unfortunately, it was not to be. The President of the Marlins, a position he has held in good years (a 2003 World Series title) and bad (lots of those other years) since 2002, David made his first "Survivor" mistake before his tribe ever made it to camp. Put on the spot in the opening seconds of the season, the Brains tribe selected Samson as their leader and, seconds later, Samson selected six-pack-wielding poker player Garrett as the tribe's weak link. At the time, he said it was a 39 Day "Survivor" Strategy, targeting an obvious threat. In his exit interview this week, David offers other explanations. See, David made an unfortunate enemy with that decision and after the Brains tribe went down in defeat at the first Immunity Challenge,...

In the first moments of the Survivor: Cagayan premiere, Miami Marlins manager David Samson was designated the leader of the Brains tribe. An hour later, he was being blindsided at the first Tribal Council, having his torch snuffed just three days into the competition. What went wrong?
"As a person who loves to watch Survivor, learning the difference between watching and playing was a very eye-opening experience for me," Samson tells TVGuide.com. "I was very happy there were no returning players. I felt that it was very cool to have 18 new players, all discovering for themselves the difference between the couch and the island."
Check out our full interview with Samson below to get his take on the ongoing struggles of the Brains tribe (or the "anti-Brains tribe," as he puts it), the group's decision to keep J'Tia over either him or Garrett, and what he would have done differently.

On the special two-hour premiere of "Survivor: Cagayan," the Brains tribe took two losses in the Immunity Challenge and sent David Samson (left) and then Garrett Adelstein (right) packing.
Adelstein was actually sent home with an Idol -- not in his pocket, because he was so sure he wouldn't need it that he left it at camp. But he tells Zap2it that there was no way he would've played it even if he'd had it with him because he didn't think Kass had flipped.
"Obviously, I had zero clue whatsoever," says Adelstein. "It was a mistake not to bring [the idol to Tribal]. Tribal Council, the five minutes or whatever you saw, it makes it look like I should play the idol. But Tribal was 90 minutes that day. The chances of me going home were very remote. ... At that point, I had every reason to think Kass was going to be voting for J'Tia.

Is the Brains tribe the worst tribe ever?
These ersatz eggheads don't just lose challenges.

Pre-credit sequence. The division of tribes has been made by the quality the players most rely upon in life, whatever that means. The Brains Tribe has an average Iq of 130 which is, honestly, not all that impressive. I mean, they're smart, but they're not Geena Davis smart. Spencer tied for first in the World Open Chess Championship and says he's both diabolical and a genius. If you say so! David is the President of the Marlins, which means that if there's a challenge that requires salary dumping, he's going to be hard to top. Kass is a lawyer who boasts about being undefeated, which is the kind of thing John Grisham characters boast about, that and smart older secretaries who have forgotten more law than most of us will ever know. On to the Beauty Tribe, whose beauty can't be measured numerically. But Morgan was an NFL cheerleader and she's...

"Survivor's" back, gang! Woo hoo! And this time around, there are no familiar faces in the cast, which is refreshing. The show is definitely in need of some new blood.
Season 28 (seriously, can you believe this is the 28th season?) is bringing with it a fun twist: Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty. We especially like it that each tribe is diverse. The brainiacs aren't a bunch of quote-unquote nerds who are going to get stomped in physical challenges and the beauty queens aren't, well, an actual tribe made up of only pageant contestants.
It should be a fun twist to watch play out, hopefully the tribes aren't dissolved too quickly. Either way, "Survivor: Cagayan" premieres at 8 p.m. Et/Pt on CBS with a two-hour episode, join us here for a live blog of all the fun.
All times Eastern
