"Are you ready for the next part of your training?" GROFIlm has released an official trailer for a peculiar indie sci-fi thriller titled Sensation, the latest from filmmaker Martin Grof. This April protect your DNA. When a lowly postman is inducted into a top-secret superhuman DNA program at a research facility, it's revealed that he'll be able to receive, control and send information based on the senses of others. Described as "David Cronenberg meets Tenet", though this trailer doesn't really have that kind of vibe. Sensation stars Eugene Simon (seen in "Game of Thrones"), Emily Wyatt, Jennifer Martin, Alastair G. Cumming, Anil Desai, and Bethan Wright. This is another film that thinks it's smarter than it is, with a cool setup that doesn't have much else to offer. There have been plenty of other better DNA-editing films made before. Pop star Paloma Faith will voice Portia Poodle and actor Miriam Margolyes Bessie the Cornish Cow in “101 Dalmatian Street,” Disney Channel’s upcoming animated series. The pair will guest star in the show, with Josh Brener (“Silicon Valley”) and Michaela Dietz (“Steven Universe”) taking the regular lead roles of sibling dalmatians Dylan and Dolly.
Ben Bailey Smith, Tameka Empson and Bethan Wright will also lend their voices to the series, which will bow in the U.K. before appearing on Disney Channel in the U.S. and around the world.

Friday the 9th of June sees the return of the hugely popular Disney Channel series, The Lodge, for a new season of drama-filled antics, exploits and big decision making for the all singing, all dancing friends and we got to spend even more time with the cast after our set visit earlier in the year to chat about the new season.

Back at the end of March, HeyUGuys were invited back over to Belfast to visit the set of Disney’s The Lodge during the filming of the second season of the hit Disney Channel TV show. We had the pleasure of a complete tour of the set of the show that garnered the Disney Channel their highest rated series debut in the past four years as well as time with members of the cast for a chat.

At the end of the first series, The Lodge left us on a major cliffhanger, Skye (Sophie Simnett) found herself torn, having to choose between Ben (Luke Newton) and Sean (Thomas Doherty) with both boys receiving that all important text, Danielle (Bethan Wright) let her jealousy subside for a brief second to persuade her mother to let the outside gig go...

Good news for fans of all things The Lodge as Disney have just sent through word that the hit Disney Channel series is on for a second season.
If you’re not familiar with the show, it follows the life of Skye a 15 year old who inherits a lodge called The North Star after her grandmother dies. The show is rife with love triangles and general drama from those who wish to see The North Star’s demise but it’s down to Skye (played by Sophie Simnett) and her dedicated friends Ben (Luke Newton), Sean (Thomas Doherty who was recently cast in Descendants 2), Noah (Jayden Revri) Kaylee (Jade Alleyne), Danielle (Bethan Wright), Joshua (Joshua Sinclair-Evans) to make sure that The Lodge keeps on the straight and narrow all with song and dance to help tell the stories as they go.

Filming is underway in Northern Ireland on new Disney teen musical drama The Lodge, a 10-part series which will air on the Disney Channel in 108 countries later this year.
Featuring an international cast drawn from emerging talent across Europe, each 22 minute episode will see them rock-climb, kayak, mountain bike, sing and dance, with all the action filmed against the backdrop of Ballynahinch, Co Down.
