Jagna Dobesz was a production designer behind the award-winning Polish-Swedish co-production THE HERE AFTER, directed by Magnus von Horn, as well as Agnieszka Smoczynska's FUGUE, which premiered in Semaine de la Critique in Cannes 2018 and KINDLER AND THE VIRGIN segment in the anthology film THE FIELD GUIDE TO EVIL, which premiered at SXSW, Texas 2018. Jagna was also a production designer behind Borys Lankosz's DARK, ALMOST NIGHT, based on an acclaimed novel by a Polish writer Joanna Bator.
Prior to that Jagna was also responsible for production design on THE DAY OF CHOCOLATE by Jacek Blawut and THE BEST FIREWORKS EVER directed by Aleksandra Terpinska, featured at Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2017.
Jagna worked as second production designer on Pawel Pawlikowski's Oscar winner IDA and UNITED STATES OF LOVE directed by Tomasz Wasilewski, awarded at Berlinale. She was also involved in production design at the development stage of Claire Denis' HIGH LIFE starring Juliette Binoche and Robert Pattinson.
