Born Jeremy Shea Scoggins, he grew up on a farm in Beaver Dam,
Kentucky. He was a regular country boy until the age of fifteen, when
he moved to Columbus, Indiana to attend high school at Columbus North
High School, where he first gained interest in stage theatre. Jeremy's
first stage role was First Man in Rehearsal for Murder, a play of which
he says he was pleasantly surprised was the murder role for the
production. Since his 1990 high school theatre debut, Jeremy has
continued to keep active in amateur and community stage productions
performing such roles as Col. Henry Blake- M*A*S*H, Sir Toby Belch-
Twelfth Night, Vladimir- Waiting for Godot, Jarret- Rattlesnakes (under
the guidance of playwright Graham Farrow),
Odell- Sordid Lives, Brad Majors- Rocky Horror Picture Show, Claudius-
Hamlet, Beadle Bamford- Sweeney Todd, Herr Zeller- Sound of Music,
Captain of the Inquisition- Man of La Mancha, and most recently on
stage, Arthur "Boo" Radley- To Kill a Mockingbird. In the summer of
2014, he made his first step into film as a medic in
Blake E. Schaefer's
Sawmill Ridge (2014). Since
then, he has accepted film roles with TPTfilms under
Timothy Paul Taylor , Polydactyl
Productions, and Keychain Productions.
