Christopher Baiza is a Mexican-Guatemalan American born in Long Beach, California. His mother is from Michoacán, México and raised in Tijuana, México. His father born in Guatemala City, was later raised in Mexicali, City in México. Christopher was raised in the South East regions of Lynwood, Huntington Park, South Gate, and East Los Angeles - formerly affiliated with gangs. Later, he began writing, and recording music as a way to express himself artistically and steer away from the streets. Unable to finish high school successfully, he later earned his high school diploma, and eventually enrolled into a junior college discovering theatre in the dramatic arts department. After a few years, Christopher dropped out of college to focus on writing, directing and acting. He was accepted to the world famous William Alderson Acting Studio in Los Angeles, California where many great performers studied under Mr. Alderson's teachings, such as Luis Guzman, Allison Janney, Jon Voigt, Jeff Goldblum and many others.
In 2019, Christopher released his first feature film "Myra" and won multiple awards including "Best Breakout Feature Film" at the Hollywood Reel Film Festival for his first feature film debut. He went on to earn multiple awards in 2020 and 2021. Currently, Christopher is preparing the exhibition of his latest two short films, "Water Dawg" and "Xmas". Christopher's next film is titled "3Flowers" following a Mexican-American family through three generations centered in East Los Angeles, expected to release late 2025.
Today, he focuses his talents toward writing, directing and editing original content. He resides in Los Angeles, California where he has dedicated his life to the development of acting through his writing and a new take on story telling.
