Zbigniew Bujarski was born on September 21, 1933 in Muszyna, Poland. Zbigniew was a composer, known for Worek (1967). Zbigniew died on April 13, 2018 in Krakow, Poland.
In 2011 Bujarski was awarded the Silver Medal of Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis by Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bogdan Zdrojewski.[.
He was born in Muszyna, Poland about 120 kilometers south-west of Krakow, and very close to the border with what is now Slovakia, and studied composition at the State College of Music in Krakow with Stanistaw Wiechowicz.
Professor Bujarski won many prizes for his compositions, including the 2nd prize of the International Rostrum of Composers at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
He teached composition at the Academy of Music in Kraków.
Among the pieces wrote throughout his career, his four compositions for string quartet - written between 1980 and 2001 - are considered the most significant.
