As a child, she was fascinated by Hollywood's Sci-Fi films and so after graduating from Notre Dame de Sion, She decided to pursue her calling and study method acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre institute in New York where many of Hollywood's big names have graduated from.
Samar became one of the most prominent in her generation by playing extremely diverse characters in major productions since 2014 with the Mideast's most prestigious and respectable directors such as Kamla Abu Zekry, Tamer Mohsen, Hala Khalil, Hussein Al Minabawi and Hadi Al Bagouri.
In 2015, She earned herself 8 awards for best emerging actress; including a UN Women acknowledgment award for the impact of her role in fighting violence against women for her role in Taht Elsaytara. She also won Best Actress award in a leading role for her role Camelia in Lams Aktaf in 2019.
Her natural acting technique allowed her to team up for the second time with director Tamer Mohsen in Haza Almasaa (Later Tonight) in 2017 and to star in Bel7agm El3a'ily (Family Size) 2018 opposite of Yehia AlFakharani by director Hala Khalil. Samar also was cast as the lead with the legendary Sherihan in the musical biography Coco Chanel in 2018 by director Hadi Elbagoury, gaining critics and audience praise after premiering in 2021.
