Pianist, composer, surfer from La Rochelle, Guillaume Desbois is a Frenchman who grew up in Brazil, lived in Tahiti, Cuba and Los Angeles. He now resides and works in Rabat, Morocco.
Guillaume began playing piano at the age of 6, trained classically with Nadine Ossipov and spent his early twenties working and traveling with famous jazzmen Felix Vilchez, Franck Zottoli, Alexis Bosh et Otmaro Ruiz - his masters.
His many travels around the world have exposed him to a myriad of musical universes - from Afro-Cuban to Classical, from Brazilian to Jazz as well as the great film composers in Europe and America.
He performed and taught in French Polynesia for 10 years before attending the UCLA Film Scoring Program, in Los Angeles. In March 2013, he was awarded the BMI/Jerry Goldsmith scholarship for excellence in film scoring.
He is currently writing, composing, arranging, orchestrating and recording scores for film and television projects.
