How did The Butcher’s Boy become the next project that the two of you would collaborate on?
Landry: I have a massive pile of stories that are always in some stage of development. This one clicked, and I saw Justin’s art in my head with it.

It’s been a long hiatus for The Boys, but we finally have some clarity on when the Prime Video hit will be back on the air.
Hint: It’s soon!
After months of teases, the streaming service revealed Thursday that The Boys Season 4 will premiere Thursday, June 13.
We’re getting a three-episode drop, followed by one new episode weekly until the season finale on Thursday, July 18.
After so long off the air, we’d have liked all eight episodes on the premiere date, but the cadence isn’t that bad.
The world is in a different place when the R-rated superhero drama returns, with the streaming service describing it as “on the brink.”
Homelander and Victoria’s team-up could spell doom
Victoria’s (Claudia Doumit) pursuit of the Oval Office continues, and given her close association with Homelander (Antony Starr), it can only mean bad things for the good guys.

Season 4 finds the world of the series devolving eve further.
Claudia Doumit's Victoria Neuman is creeping ever closer than ever to the Oval Office, but the real power behind the (potential) throne is Homelander, who has his eyes on yet more control as his own popularity surges despite his crimes. Things are far from rosy for Butcher, though, as having used Temp V to gain access to superpowers, he's got months to live. Plus, he's lost his gig as The Boys’ leader, as the...

The Boys‘ patriotic promo for Season 4 is beginning to make more sense as the series sets its sights on a Summertime premiere for the latest chapter. Season 4 will officially debut with three episodes on Thursday, June 13, and will run through Thursday, July 18 when the finale episode drops on Prime Video. New installments will arrive each Thursday after the Season 4 debut with one appropriately landing on Independence Day during the eight-episode run. (Credit: Prime Video) In addition to setting the premiere date for Season 4 which will stream exclusively on Prime Video, the streamer also unveiled some intriguing key art for Homelander’s (Antony Starr) birthday, featuring the unhinged caped Supe and presidential hopeful Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit). Season 4 picks up with the world on the brink as Victoria is even closer to the Oval Office than before and under the thumb of Homelander, who is working on consolidating his power. Meanwhile,...

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features only Four(!) matches this week and a sub-thirty minute running time. Once again we’ve got Elevation regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Butcher, Blade and Kip Sabian def. Shunma Katsumata, Yuki Ueno and Mao

Having the trio of Katsumata, Ueno and Mao face three long-standing and talented Aew veterans like The Butcher and The Blade and Kip Sabian made a lot of sense too. Shame the crowd wasn’t into this one though.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir def. The Renegades (Robyn and Charlette)

Some traditions in the Diablo games, just like the Lord of Terror himself, never die. The iconic Diablo boss The Butcher is a prime, and evil, example of that concept. While he was missing from Diablo 2, he returned for seconds in Diablo 3, and The Butcher will also come bearing a platter of pain in Diablo 4. If you plan on playing that game’s Open Beta, you can even sample this boss before the game’s retail release. You just have to get a little lucky (or unlucky) to find and fight him.
As Diablo veterans probably remember, The Butcher was the very first boss players faced in the original Diablo. This demon quickly left an impression thanks to all the NPCs who built him up by talking about him, his unique room filled with butchered corpses, and his haunting catchphrase of “Ahh…fresh meat!” Unfortunately, Diablo 4 doesn’t give The...

The Best Drama Actor line-up is one of the toughest to predict at the 2023 Emmys, as the last two winners — Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”) and Josh O’Connor (“The Crown”) — won’t be back to reclaim their prizes. That opens up the door for a whole host of new and returning leading men to contend for the gold, and one person who shouldn’t be counted out is Antony Starr (“The Boys”). He was recently nominated at the Critics Choice Awards for the first time, proving he’s an actor on the rise thanks to the popular Amazon Prime Video comic book adaptation.
During “The Boys” Season 3, Starr’s character Homelander, an egotistical narcissist who masquerades as a patriotic superhero, takes center stage as Butcher’s (Karl Urban) group of renegades tries to kill him with the help of a long-thought-dead superhero named Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles). Writer Joe Casey has built a career in the superhero business, co-creating heroes such as Marvel’s America Chavez and playing in the sandboxes of classic properties Superman and X-Men. After more than 25 years, Casey found himself having questions about his relationship with the genre.
“Did it still speak to me? Did it still hold the same kind of relevance as it did when I was just a fan? Was it just childhood nostalgia that I was having trouble letting go of?” Casey tells The Hollywood Reporter. “How many other readers of my generation were feeling this ambivalence to something that meant so much to us since we were kids?”
Those were the questions swirling when he sat down to write Junior Baker, a five-issue series due out from Image Comics in August. The series centers on Daniel “Dizzy” Baker, a gonzo online journalist who chases superhuman stories in a...

In a media landscape saturated with superheros, one show manages to stand out from the rest. Eric Kripke's "The Boys" follows a ragtag group of human vigilantes in a world where superheroes are not only real, but just as flawed as the rest of us. The Prime Video series is bursting with super-abled people, each of whom possesses a unique set of powers. The fun of the series lies in not only watching what these "supes" can do, but seeing how they inevitably use their abilities for mischief and debauchery.
However, while they're incredibly fun, these powers can be hard to fathom; some are downright confounding. A supe called Termite (Brett Geddes), for example, loses control of his ability to miniaturize when he sneezes, while a hero named Love Sausage (Andrew Jackson) has no discernable power aside from amplified control of his massive ... appendage. And these examples are merely the tip of the iceberg.

Match #1: Aew All-Atlantic Championship – Orange Cassidy def. Wheeler Yuta The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Yuta and Cassidy countered one another with a plethora of pinning combinations. Wheeler used a front leg sweep on Orange. Yuta rolled up Orange for a near fall. Cassidy used Yuta’s pinning technique, the seatbelt, for a two-count on Wheeler. Claudio Castagnoli came out to ringside and didn’t look so happy. Claudio gave a pep talk to Yuta in the form of a slap to Yuta’s face. Yuta nailed Orange with a tope and then whipped Orange into the barricades. Yuta sent Orange shoulder-first into the steel ring post. Wheeler Yuta battered Orange Cassidy...

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features six matches on the card and runs just over 35 minutes – that’s what I like to see, short and sweet wrestling action! We’ve got Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary, with Roh’s Ian Riccaboni added to the mix this week… so let’s get into the review.
Match #1: Skye Blue def. Zoe Dubois
My Thoughts: Nice to see Skye Blue open a show and Zoe Dubois was an interesting opponent, someone who’s style is certainly unique. This wasn’t anything remarkable and certainly not up to the standard of Blue’s more recent matches. Still, a great start to this week’s Elevation.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: The Butcher and The Blade def. David McCallion and Richie Slade
My Thoughts: The Butcher and The Blade made absolute mince meat of McCallion and Slade,...

Former “Teen Mom” star Cory Wharton is sharing an update regarding his and Taylor Selfridge’s 7 month old daughter Maya’s health.
The little one went into hospital for open heart surgery, and despite admitting her recovery didn’t go entirely to plan, she’s back at home now.
He wrote, alongside an array of adorable photos: “I have some Good news to tell you all We finally got released from the hospital
“I’m so thankful these past two weeks have been very up-and-down and have felt like a nightmare at times. But I always try to stay positive and being at the Children’s Hospital for two weeks & seeing some families who have been up there for months or years and some maybe won’t leave the hospital. I’m very thankful that we got released today.”

It's hard out there to be a bad guy. Your legitimate grievances with society go ignored until you blow up a planet over it, and then suddenly everyone's paying attention to the wrong thing. Or your legitimate grievances receive attention but go unresolved, and when you genetically engineer people to turn into dinosaurs, suddenly you're a meme. Even worse, should you get somewhere with your goals, nobody is happy with you and the heroes band up to kill you and undo your hard work. Can't we ever just talk things out? Over a lava lake with magma sharks in it?
Or, perhaps you realize you were going about things the wrong way, and you make an effort to turn the situation around. You experience regret, grow as a person, and then, well, redemption usually equals death in stories like that. As nearly all of us experienced, 2022 was particularly tough on...

Paul Butcher hasn’t exactly kept his feelings about his time on “Zoey 101” secret from the world. He’s made something of a thing out of popping up online to shade his former co-star Jamie Lynn Spears and all but say he wants nothing to do with any revival.
Yes, this involves lip syncing a scene from “The Devil Wears Prada” that has recently become a trend TikTok. Butcher posted a video of him lip syncing the moment where Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) says “What if I don’t want to live the way you live” and gets immediately scolded by Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) with “Oh don’t be ridiculous Andrea, Everyone wants this.”
So it probably won’t shock you to learn he has feelings about the just-announced movie sequel to the 2000s Nickelodeon show. Shady, Prada-y feelings.

Match #1: Aew World Tag Team Championship No Holds Barred Match – The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) def. Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Lethal locked on the figure four on Bowens on the ramp. It turned into a rolling figure four as they reversed it back and forth all the way down to the ring! Anthony Bowens booted Jarrett in the ring and followed up with a flipping neck breaker. Lethal drove Bowens into the barricade with a tope. Lethal and Jarrett strutted inside the ring to celebrate. Bowens turned Lethal inside out with a lariat. Caster tagged in and threw a thrust kick at Jarrett.

The Blackpool Combat Club came out next and entered the ring like a wrecking ball! Kip Sabian stomped on Orange Cassidy in the corner. Dark Order entered the fray next! They charged right at Preston Vance, their former partner. Orange Cassidy jumped off the top rope with a crossbody press but was caught by Claudio, Evil Uno, and Alex Reynolds!

New Delhi, Dec 24 (Ians) Cricket West Indies (Cwi) announced the appointment of Roland Butcher as the new selector to the West Indies Men’s senior and youth selection panels. He will work alongside lead selector Desmond Haynes at the senior level and with Robert Haynes in the youth panel.
The third member of both panels is the respective Head Coach, where Andre Coley is a member at the senior men’s level, having filled the position once Phil Simmons resigned. Butcher’s appointment, according to Cwi, was confirmed during a meeting of the Board of Directors on December 19.
“It is a great honour and a privilege, to be given the opportunity to serve West Indies Cricket. I’m eager to get started to work alongside the other members of the selection panels as we look to ensure the growth and improvement in West Indies cricket at all levels,” said Butcher in his new role.

This article contains spoilers for The Witcher.
With a little over a month until The Witcher: Blood Origin hits Netflix on Dec. 25, a teaser trailer has finally been released. Set 1200 years before the events of The Witcher, this four episode special event is set to tell the story of the conjunction of the spheres – the event that brought the realms of Elves, Humans, Dwarves, and Monsters together and reshaped the Continent. While we don’t know much else about the plot of this limited series, the trailer for The Witcher: Blood Origin shows an unexpected connection to The Witcher – music.
The trailer opens with a hauntingly beautiful song that plays for the duration as we see glimpses of the pre-conjunction Elven world that the series is set in. Near the end, it is revealed that the song is sung by Éile (Sophia Brown), a warrior of the Queen’s guard...

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which, like Elevation, features nine matches… On with this week’s review!
Match #1: Danhausen def. Jon Cruz
My Thoughts: Danhausen manages to get a win after losing to Qt Marshall on Elevation. Though it was againzt jobber Jon Cruz, who was last seen on Dark getting quickly squashed by The Butcher (way back in 2021). Still it’s always great to see Danhausen in action. Always.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Embassy def. Fuego Del Sol and Waves & Curls
My Thoughts: Well this was surprise, I expected a quick squash of Feugo and his teammates but no, instead we got a decent display of action from everyone involved. In fact this was – in another total surprise – one of the best matches we’ve seen from The Embassy so far.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Nyla Rose def. Leva Bates

"Thor: Love and Thunder" is a film heavily inspired by the Marvel Comics, specifically Jason Aaron's famous run on the God of Thunder. Featuring everything from Jane Foster, aka the Mighty Thor, to the two goats Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder, "Love and Thunder" feels heavily influenced by Aaron's take on the character and the world of Asgard.
Perhaps the most considerable influence Aaron's Thor comic had on the film, aside from the introduction of Jane Foster's Mighty Thor, is the villain at the center of "Love and Thunder." Gorr the God Butcher, portrayed by Christian Bale in the film, is an original character created by writer Jason Aaron and artist Esad Ribić as the first major villain for their run.
Gorr's monstrous appearance and powerset soon made him one of the most popular Thor villains, so there was plenty of excitement when Christian Bale was cast as the villain. Bale's...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got the usual [new] commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose def. Jc Storm and Joelle Clift
My Thoughts: Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose make a great team and they look So dominant in squash matches like this. But still we’ve opened with a squash match on Elevation. Again.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Tiara James
My Thoughts: Another strong match for the former cheerleader turned [possible] leader of the House of Black. She squashed her enhancement talent opponent with ease.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Dante Martin and Matt Sydal def. Zack Clayton and Serpentico
My Thoughts: What the actual f*ck?! Less than one minute...
