The future is not looking bright for Raven’s Home, which has officially been cancelled by Disney Channel after six seasons, TVLine has confirmed.
A continuation of That’s So Raven, which aired on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007, Raven’s Home reunited viewers with the sitcom’s titular psychic (played by Raven-Symoné), who was now the mother of twins — including a son Booker (Issac Ryan Brown), who has clairvoyant powers of his own. Set in Chicago for its first four seasons, Raven’s Home ultimately relocated back to San Francisco (aka the original setting of That’s So Raven) for the remainder of its run.

The adults are almost done on “Dancing with the Stars,” but the inaugural season of “Juniors” is still underway with six kids remaining following last week’s ouster of Disney Channel star Jason Maybaum. So who was the next to go? On Giving Thanks Night the young celebs dedicated their routines to people who inspired them. Follow along with our live blog below to find out who had reason to be grateful and who said “Thanks for nothing” to the judges and studio audience.
Last week’s Juniors Choice Night put “Avengers” actress Ariana Greenblatt at the top of the judges’ leaderboard with the season’s first 10, and “Black-ish” star Miles Brown was close behind with another set of straight 9s. Skateboarding prodigy Sky Brown trailed in the scores, but the Gold Derby users who enter their predictions every week still think she’s the one to beat for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Things were looking up for Jason Maybaum on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.” After a slow start at the beginning of the season the Disney Channel star got better and better, increasing his judges’ scores every single week until Juniors Choice Night when he picked the music and concept for his jazz routine and got his highest score of the season … and was eliminated soon thereafter. How did that happen? And do you think he deserved his ouster? Watch his last dance above and scroll down to vote in our polls at the bottom of this post.
Maybaum scored a lowly 18 out of 30 on premiere night, then 21 on Song from the Year I Was Born Night, then 22 on Disney Night and all the way up to 25 on Halloween Night. Now taking on a hip-hop-infused jazz number to the rap classic “It’s Tricky” by Run-dmc, he delivered a performance whose...

Akash Vukoti has charmed the judges on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” and he has charmed the studio audience too, as evidenced by his advancement through the competition despite lower scores. But as the competition has heated up he has needed more and more help from the studio audience votes because his judges’ scores haven’t been improving. On Juniors Choice Night he finished way down at the bottom of the leaderboard after his Charleston, but he survived again. Was he helped by the inspiring speech he gave after the judges’ comments? Watch his dance above.
Vukoti, who at age nine is the youngest contestant in the competition, doesn’t have the technique of some of his older rivals like Miles Brown or Mackenzie Ziegler, but he makes up for that with pluck, enthusiasm and charm. He’s just so gosh-darned likable. So the judges praised him for his sense of “fun,...

Competitive skateboarder Sky Brown has risen to the top of our “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” predictions in recent weeks. She has been consistently well scored by the judges, and she has a bright, charismatic personality that endears her to the audience. But on Juniors Choice Night, when the young celebs picked their own music and dance concepts, Brown fell to her lowest position on the leaderboard yet. Could she even be at risk of — gasp — elimination next week? Watch her performance above.
Brown chose to dance to “The Greatest” by Sia since it’s her “pump-up” song when skateboarding. That undoubtedly gave her a boost when performing, but she may have been at an immediate disadvantage due to her dance style: a samba, which is notorious for tripping up contestants on the dance floor. Indeed, I thought her routine got off to a slow start, but then it kicked...

“Avengers: Infinity War” actress Ariana Greenblatt has been a judges’ favorite all season on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” which is why it was so surprising that her scores were so low on Halloween Night. But both “DWTS” shows like to generate drama and set up comeback narratives, so it wasn’t a big surprise that Greenblatt got to close the show on Juniors Choice Night, giving her the opportunity to get revenge with the highest-scoring routine of the night. Watch it above.
I think Greenblatt was a lot better on Halloween Night than the judges gave her credit for with their harsh critiques and scores. They even made her cry with those marks — see what you did, judges! But Greenblatt was determined to make a comeback with a routine that, since it was Juniors Choice, would be on her own terms.

“Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” took a week off while Disney-owned ABC celebrated Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday on November 4, but the kids were back on November 11 for their fifth week of competition. And this time the kids took the reins. For Juniors Choice Night the contestants picked their own music, some of which had special emotional significance to the competitors. So who gave the best performances, and who was eliminated at the end of the night? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.

Jason Maybaum really sucked on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” — and I mean that as a compliment. On Halloween Night he played a vampire for his Argentine tango to (appropriately) “Youngblood” by 5 Seconds of Summer, and it turned out to be a blood-sucking breakthrough for the Disney Channel star. Watch his performance above.
Maybaum didn’t have the most promising start when the season started. He received a score of 18 out of 30 for his opening night cha cha, which placed him 10th out of 12 contestants on the judges’ leaderboard. The only celebs who scored lower — Addison Osta Smith and Tripp Johnston — were both eliminated from the competition that night, so Maybaum may have just barely dodged that bullet. But since then he has been steadily creeping up in his scores.

The “Dancing with the Stars” two-night Halloween event started with the “Juniors” on Sunday night. The kids’ fright fest brought out breakthrough performances from a couple of rising contestants, while another early favorite “descended” on the leaderboard and we cried boo-hoo over the elimination at the end of the night. So who do you think gave the best performances, who gave the worst performances, and did the judges and studio audience get it right with the season’s fifth elimination?
As you might have guessed above, it was Alana Thompson — aka Honey Boo Boo from the reality series “Toddlers and Tiaras” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” — who was eliminated when Halloween Night was over. Her scores had improved slightly since week one, and she seemed to have the support of the studio audience, so it looked like she had a ghost of a chance to advance pretty far in the competition.

ABC can’t let any fall iteration of “Dancing with the Stars” go by without a Halloween-themed week, even if that means filming it months in advance. Yup, it’s Halloween Night on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” next week, so the final eight contestants will treat us to their newest dance tricks.
In addition, the episode, which was filmed over the summer, will open with a group number featuring all eight couples and choreographed by judge Mandy Moore. One team will be eliminated at the end of the hour.

Disney Night has become a tradition on “Dancing with the Stars,” but this season it has expanded to a two-night affair. The top nine child celebrities performed Disney-inspired routines on “DWTS: Juniors” on Sunday night, and the grownups will do the same in Monday’s episode of the original series. Disney is known for its family films, which makes it a perfect fit for “Juniors.” So how did the kids do? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
The first two weeks of the competition quickly cut the roster from 12 contestants to 9. Tripp Johnston and Addison Osta Smith had the lowest judges’ scores in week one and were both eliminated after the studio audience votes were factored in. But week two ended in a surprise: “General Hospital” actor Hudson West got the boot even though he had one of the night’s higher scores.

It would be an ironic twist of fate, but it looks like Disney Channel star Jason Maybaum may be eliminated next from “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” — on Disney Night. That’s according to the combined predictions of Gold Derby users who have entered their picks in our predictions center for this week’s show.
Maybaum gets leading odds of 7/2 to be sent home from the competition. He’s best known for playing Levi Grayson in the Disney series “Raven’s Home,” but he hasn’t been known for high-scoring dances on “DWTS” just yet. In the series premiere episode he got the third lowest score of the night from the judges (18 out of 30) for his cha cha with pro partner Elliana Walmsley. He significantly improved in week two, scoring 21 for his jive, but that still placed him third from the bottom.

Week two of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” ended with a surprise: Hudson West, the Daytime Emmy nominated star of “General Hospital,” was eliminated in 10th place. That came after a superhero themed paso doble that he performed on a night when the kid celebs danced to songs released in the years they were born. And while the judges didn’t think it was the best performance of the night, they liked him better than a few of the contestants who stuck around. Do you think West got a raw deal? Watch his performance above, and vote in our poll below.
West was born in 2008 and danced to Madonna‘s hit from that year, “4 Minutes” featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Judge Val Chmerkovskiy thought West “killed it.” Mandy Moore “loved that … you were holding Kameron so strong. You embodied the character. I really enjoyed that performance.” And Adam Rippon was “so impressed.

Will Honey Boo Boo go bye-bye on ‘Dancing with the Stars: Juniors’? See where she stands in our odds
Alana Thompson came into the debut season of “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” as one of its best known celebs since she was already a reality star. She’s better known as Honey Boo Boo from the TLC series “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” which was spun off from the network’s “Toddlers and Tiaras.” But that didn’t help her too much with the judges, and now our users think she’ll be eliminated in week two of the competition on Sunday night, October 14.
Our predictions are based on the combined forecasts of Gold Derby users who have entered their picks in our predictions center, and they give Thompson leading odds of 19/5 of being ousted from the competition. In the premiere episode she performed a salsa with her pint-sized pro partner Tristan Ianiero, and judges Val Chmerkovskiy, Mandy Moore and Adam Rippon loved her spirit, but Chmerkovskiy thought she...

You know how everyone makes fun of the younger “Dancing with the Stars” contestants for picking a year in, like, the last seven years — including the current year — for Most Memorable Year because they haven’t lived yet? Well, neither have the kiddies on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors.”
Oh, don’t worry, they’re not doing Most Memorable Year there, which would’ve been Lol, but they are doing Songs From the Year I Was Born in Week 2. So that’s just music from this century. Not just that, but the remaining 10 contestants range from 9 years old (Spelling Bee champ Akash Vukoti) to 14 years old (Mackenzie Ziegler), so we’re getting tunes from a five-year span from 2004 to 2009. Some of these kids weren’t even alive for their rivals’ songs! We are old; they are not. Sigh.

“Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” made its grand debut on Sunday night, October 7. The new series is spun off from the grown-up “Dancing with the Stars,” which has been on the air since 2005 and whose 27th season is currently underway. So how did “Juniors” compare to the mothership series, and how did these talented tykes compare to their adult counterparts? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the old show and the new is that “Juniors” has been taped in advance instead of airing live like the original series. That means fan votes won’t come into play for “Juniors” the way they do on the main series. So the kids had better be alright on the dance floor in order to impress the judges.
