Adara Totino

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Adara is a graduate of The Actors Studio Drama School (MFA Acting). Fortunate enough to collaborate with original playwright Edward Allen Baker on her portrayal of the title character in his "Dolores" during her repertory season, Adara went on to receive a Best Actress nomination through the Strawberry One-Act Theatre Festival (2014) for her work in Joseph Lizardis' "Stranger with A Gun". She has since been involved in various projects on stage and screen, and even moved to Australia for a short while; she is happier than ever to be pursuing her dreams once again in her hometown.
NY Theatre credits include Dolores in "Dolores", Victoria in "Motherf**ker with the Hat", Maude in "A Coupla White Chicks Sitting Around Talking," Marlene in "Top Girls", Edna in "Waiting for Lefty", Vanda in "Venus in Fur", the ensemble cast of "The Vagina Monologues" and Blue in "Disconcerzione Stati d'Anime (Disconcerted States of Mind)". Roles Adara has originated include Jenny in "Stranger with a Gun", and Lily and Jenny in Carrie Boehm's "The Test" and "Waiting for Kevin", respectively.
