Wiley Brown
- Actor
Wiley Brown (Wiley B) Has been around music since the age of four, on stage right beside his father, the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown. While Wiley had a successful college football career at Duquesne and Virginia Tech, music has always been his first love. He started rapping live with his father as a youth but after Chuck's passing, he joined the Chuck Brown Band. Wiley's lead vocals and looks on the last year's Chuck Brown Band's "Summertime" single and video sparked even more comparisons amongst Go-Go fans to his father. Wiley is a renaissance man who wears many different hats: musician, artist, voice actor, actor, co-founder of the Chuck Brown Foundation, health coach, and more. He was recently cast on Oprah's Own Network TV Show "Ready to Love" Season 6, "Ready to Love Potomac". Wiley played the role of "Sleepy" in stage play "Mothers of old". Wiley played the role of a Marcher in Netflix Special "Rustin" set to come out in 2023. Wiley was also in Apple TV Series "Swagger" Season Two as a security Guard. In between performing, acting, and his other passions, Wiley co-wrote his debut solo single "Not Obligated" with his brother, Chuck's other son, Nekos Brown. They worked with The Late Great Music Producer and DMV's own Chucky Thompson on the song.
