The allegations came last month from an Al-Jazeera report that said the professional athlete's wife, Ashley Manning, received deliveries of Hgh, human growth hormone, from an Indianapolis anti-aging clinic while her husband was recovering from neck surgery. Charles Sly, a former pharmacy intern who spoke to the news outlet unknowingly about drug use among professional athletes, has since recanted his story (see video below). Al Jazeera reporter Deborah Davies told CNN’s Brian Stelter that her organization “had a second source” linking Peyton Manning’s wife Ashley to repeated shipments of human growth hormone (Hgh). Davies did not identify the anonymous source on Sunday’s “Reliable Sources,” but called the person “absolutely impeccably placed, knowledgeable, and credible, who confirmed exactly what Sly said.” Sly is a former worker at the Guyer Institute of Molecular Medicine, where Peyton Manning had been treated.
