Telemundo’s new reality competition series “Los 50” will bring drama among familiar faces.
“For the first time, you’re gonna see 50 celebrities, influencers, singers or famous people in one place fighting for the big prize; they can win up to $350,000,” Telemundo Entertainment and Content Strategy President Ronald Day told TheWrap. “You’re going to have some challenges that are going to be in a group or individual, so there is going to be elimination every night… it’s a lot of drama — it’s a combination between game and reality.”
Based on the French series “The Fifty,” “Los 50” features 50 well-known personalities, including Telemundo royalty Isabella Sierra, who played the daughter of Teresa Mendoza in “La Reina del Sur,” and “La Casa de Los Famosos” alum Manelyk González, as well as Mexican actor Juan Vidal and Mexican American singer Lorenzo Méndez, among many others. Miss Universe 2020: In a glittering final round of the 69th Miss Universe competition held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza trumped ahead the 73 beauties and was crowned the winner of the biggest beauty contest in the world. Miss India, Adline Castelino missed the top three positions by a short margin and emerged as the third runner-up. Brazil's Julia Gama and Peru's Janick Maceta emerged as the first and second runner up respectively.

Nearly 100 women from the far reaches of the cosmos descended upon Hollywood (Florida) on Sunday for the 69th Miss Universe pageant.
Mario Lopez, who returned to the intergalactic ceremony for the first time since 2007, and Olivia Culpo, who took home the crown in 2012, served as hosts of the three-hour event, which was broadcast live on Fyi and Telemundo. If you tuned in hoping to see Steve Harvey mustaching his way through another Miss Universe, we’re sorry to report that this was his first time not hosting since 2015.
