The metal legend simply commented, “I love you Josh,” along with a number of supportive emojis, on the Instagram post in which Kiszka revealed his sexuality.
As reported on Tuesday (January 20th), Kiszka wrote, in part, “I’ve been in a loving, same-sex relationship with my partner for the past 8 years. Those close to me are well aware, but it’s important to me to share publicly.” He added that it was important for him to share his truth in the wake of new anti-lgbtq+ legislation in Tennessee, where he has “settled a home.”

God only knows it was a matter of time until the Recording Academy picked the Beach Boys as the recipient of one of its annual all-star tributes, and the group’s legacy isn’t done any shame with “A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys,” airing Sunday night at 8 Et/Pt on CBS (and for on-demand streaming on Paramount+). No wrong harmonies are struck, literally or figurative, in a two-hour show that starts out feeling a little bit by-the-numbers but eventually lands on a series of knockout covers fit for a Wilson.
Are you surprised that Brandi Carlile would be the highlight of a tribute special? Then come out from under your rock and do stay up late enough to catch both of her performances on the show, since she is one of a handful of artists granted both solo and duet slots in the setlist. The roof’s leather interior is speckled with 1,420 fiber-optic lights that resemble a constellation, there’s a bottle-sized fridge between the seats for chilling beverages and he’s cranking AC/DC’s “Problem Child” on the car’s bespoke stereo. “I think it’s so over-the-top and fantastic — a bit like me.” He smirks.

The Struts perform intimate versions of two new songs, their recent single “Body Talks” and as-yet-unreleased power ballad “Somebody New,” in the latest installment of Rolling Stone‘s “Take One” performance series.
“Body Talks” opens with frontman Luke Spiller snapping his fingers and belting over his bandmates’ bluesy, detuned acoustic riffs. Bassist Jed Elliott, playing rhythm guitar for the set, sings a high harmony, and drummer Gethin Davies thumps away at a cajon. Lead guitarist Adam Slack switches to an electric Gibson Les Paul for “Somebody New,” offering a arena-worthy guitar solo.

The Struts recruited Kesha for a lively new version of their single “Body Talks.” The pop artist, a longtime fan of the band, adds a smooth sassiness to the song, belting and speak-singing opposite frontman Luke Spiller.
The glam-rock band also marked the collaboration with a colorful, slightly surreal video. Spiller dances around a red backdrop with a cane, while Kesha sits on a gold throne and shouts through a megaphone. The duo utilize a number of randomly painted props, including bananas, pyramids, roosters, skulls, ice cream cones and lollipops.

The Struts indulge their glam-rock fantasies in the new song “Primadonna Like Me” as frontman Luke Spiller sings, “Do you wanna be a prima donna like me tonight? Don’t you know it’s all about me tonight?” The song’s everything-but-the-kitchen-sink production features layers of synths, a Rolling Stones–style guitar riff and handclaps for a monolithic sound. Both this track and the band’s current rock-radio hit “Body Talks” will appear on the group’s upcoming album, though the band has yet to reveal its title or release date.
