- Edmond Lévy was born on September 1, 1925 in Casablanca, French Morocco [now Morocco]. He was a director and writer, known for Nicolas de Staël: Vie et mort d'un peintre (1963), La blessure (1960) and Peter Breughel l'ancien (1952). He died on June 12, 1995 in Paris, France.
